Barney Frank's controversy with male prostitute Gobie is directly related to Franklin Scandal Omaha. He deliberately used his knowledge of gay members of Congress to protect himself... and in the process helped to bury the Franklin Scandal and its connections to the White House call boy ring 1989 as reported by CBS and NBC go to CBS and NBC so google it for yourselves.

In June 1989, openly gay Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank, two months before he admitted that his aide was using his Capitol Hill home for prostitution purposes, threatened to expose the identities of a number of closeted gay Republican members of Congress after a Republican National Committee surfaced that suggested then-House Speaker Thomas Foley was gay. WayneMadsenReport

he is trying to take the heat off himself for his role in the AIG scandal now with this name calling. he lives in a glass house and should put down the stones.

No. Barney Frank was acting in an immature unprofessional manner.

A person of his status should know better. Frank should be able to control his emotions long enough to engage in intelligent productive discourse.

Imus was fired for insulting a basket ball team.

Imus is an entertainer like Rush.

Barney Frank, however, is a supposedly serious public official. I think Frank needs to start acting like a government official rather than a pundit.

Is Frank going to go unpunished for insulting Scalia as well as any other American who does not support including gay marriage in the legal description of marriage?

I think the press needs to start investigating Frank's personal life more closely. I think they will find that he engages in a lot of quasi illegal activities.

He's using the 'Gay card' to try to change the constitution. Just like Obama used the 'race card' Look where that got us. No where in the Constitution does it deal with Gay rights, but rather says that is a decisions for the states like all social issue.

All sexual preferences and scandals aside...

Barney Frank is an idiot. It's as simple as that. He has no business telling anybody anything. Massachusetts must be full of them as well because they voted for him.

Just because someone made a mistake 20 yrs ago does not mean that they can't criticize others - especially when that criticism (against Scalia) is true. It's not like Frank was criticizing Scalia for being involved with a prostitution ring, now is it? And let's remember - virtually all of the greedy AIG folks - in fact Wall St in general; is run by and perpetuated by CEO's who are also notoriously Republican.

Of course this is a diversion. No one who has followed Frank over the years should be surprised by anything he does.

Poor ole Bawney, the homosexual, blubbering and slobbering every day on TV. Watching him, and imagining his private life is enough to make a person lose their supper.

Barney Frank is a liberal, a Democrat, and a homosexual.

As such, he is allowed to call anybody any names he wants.

And, because he's a liberal and a Democrat and a homosexual, we're not ever supposed to respond to him or criticize him.

Doncha just love it?
