Question:
Will you please evaluate these statements about the debt ceiling and Gabrielle Giffords?

The historic debt ceiling vote was taking place in the House of Representatives when Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who had not been seen in public since the horrific attack that took multiple lives and sent a bullet through her cranium, showed up to vote. Fellow House Democrats greeted her enthusiastically, but the leadership was anxious to make sure she voted their way -- "yes." They reminded her of this many times, until she said, "O.K., O.K, you don't have to hold a gun to my head."

The Republicans were upset at all the attention Rep. Giffords was getting on this historic occasion. Seeing that the press was mobbing her, Tea Party stalwarts said, "Great. We need this like a hole in the head."

Rep. Giffords' husband was with her and drove her to the Capitol, but was so excited he briefly got lost. "God," she said, "you're such a space cadet."

A large group of liberal Democrats and Tea Party Republicans was hopeful that Giffords could be persuaded to vote "no," each for opposing reasons. They all asked Giffords if they could try to persuade her to change her mind. She said, "Take a shot."

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Gabby Giffords probably gained a IQ point or two by getting shot in the head.

Democrats and Republicans are the same.

The Central Government, run by bureaucratic servants called Democrats and Republicans, know that there is a 11% approval rate of the government by the US citizens. This is unacceptable to the Dems and Reps. They need away to show there power. So creating a fear atmosphere, will get the citizens attention. This will also let them portray the illusion they are doing something for the citizens that cannot be done without the government. I't is a forced recognition of power in all its tyranny.

One of the rules of war when facing a stronger enemy is to divide and conquer, rather then to attack your enemies force as a whole. Knowing that citizens and there constitutional freedoms/rights are a thee governments greatest enemy, creating a diversionary tactic such as Republican and Democrat would divide the governments enemies "citizens + constitutional freedoms/rights" Once divided, the enemy is far easier to conquer. In this case, when we are divided, the Central Government can take away freedoms/rights, and implement tyrannous laws a lot easier than if we were united.

Vote for ANYONE else besides Democrats or Republicans. I't can be anyone ranging from a third party candidate to Mickey Mouse. Just don't vote for Democrats or Republicans. They were bought and paid for a long time ago by bureaucrats. When Dems or Reps are elected, they serve the interests of the transnational corporations that paid for them to get elected, not the citizens. I't is the greatest acting out of a "good cop bad cop" scenario in history. Just remember. The Tea Party is the Republican Party.

"I'f your a multi-billion dollar transnational corporation and you pay for only, 1 President + 435 Congressmen + 100 Senators + 9 Supreme Court Justices, then you have complete and total power over 350,000,000+ citizens and all there resources." WTF!!!

I can see the great emotional impact that Giffords made on the congressmen and all the liberals in the country, but isn't it a little bit irresponsible to have her vote when we don't really know anything about her cognitive abilities? The dems in California have been keeping the fact that one of theirs has gone completely over the edge, but they need her vote, so they will hide the fact that she is incompetent as long as they can. Very corrupt behavior in my book.

Seems to be a lot of embellishment and creation of facts associated with this question. I'm concerned about Ms. Gifford's cognitive abilities. Does she really understand what's going on? While I abhor what happened to her and the nut who shot her, sentiment should not be the overriding factor in allowing her to remain in Congress. After all, she is making decisions that impact the entire nation.

I think as long as Sarah Palin wasn't there she was safe from any harm.

Thanks for your kind concern.
