I'm from Mexico and I'm against illegal immigration. Why do some people in America think this is racist?

Don't get me wrong. I like foreigners but if they come to Mexico they need to come legally. If they came illegaly then I would be very much in favor of these foreigners being deported. For example, there was this Russian girl working in Mexico illegaly as an english teacher. I hated her. I just hated her because she was working in Mexico illegaly. If I go Russia to work I get deported but this b*tch can come here to work like it's her country? This is why I do not support illegal immigration.

I don't believe you're Mexican- but I can tell you that I know several people who went to Mexico as students or tourists, decided they wanted to stay, found jobs as English teachers and went to the government office and got a legal work visa. Unlike the US, Mexico allows people with needed skills to get visas in order to work there legally.

And... Mexico is not the US. Mexico treats illegal immigrants from their southern border (Guatemala, El Salvador...) very harshly. If you were actually Mexican, you would know that this is a way bigger issue in Mexico than a single English tutor. But Mexico does not rely on workers from Central America for cheap labor, there are plenty of citizens that will do the work.



In America, there isn't a large pool of American labor willing to do the work that illegal immigrants are willing to do.
