have any of you obama supporters actually tuned into fox news?

i'm an independent. i was one of those who used to think fox news was a bunch of crap. at least that is how the other media outlets made them out to be. during the election i only watched cnn, nbc and the other major sources and ultimately i voted for obama. last minute decision but that is how i voted.

so, now that i am completely annoyed by this stimulus, livid is a more appropriate word, i tuned into fox to get another prospective on this package. it is amazing what i learned from that station! just amazing! sorry to say but if you are only listening to the other sources, you are only getting half the truth or truth that is watered down. it is not a bunch of idiots. it is not a bunch of fear mongers, it is not unbalanced. it IS very fair reporting. they always have both sides and the people who give a conservative prospective are very intelligent minds within the conservative party. you don't see that on the other stations. you get david axelrod giving a conservative prospective??? how is that fair?

fox gets a bad rap and you should tune in sometime to get the nuts and bolts of what is really going on. you may be surprised.

I watch it in places where it is forced on us, like some Dr offices and sports bars. They cherry-pick the news for items that can be used to illustrate far-right thinking.

You are sadly mistaken if you think it is "the nuts and bolts of what is really going on". But then, people enjoy seeing things that confirm their beliefs - so I can see why some people love it so.

FOX news keeps away the dissonance between reality and far-right policies.

If you watch all the news channels, it becomes apparent that Fox is the only one who is still reporting news and not spouting their own political views. There are NO reporters on the other channels....just rabid cheerleaders without an ounce of journalistic integrity. Like Helen Thomas...just younger with nicer voices.

Oddly, it does thhe same things that other shows do, but those who complain about it are the ones being skewered. MY take is that after years of feeling like the were the perfect, all knowing, 'good' ones, to see that a news show would say otherwise is a shock!

whilst has MsNBC stated something at each and each of in the least valuable approximately Senator John McCain or Gov. Palin???? you're able to think of those 2 have been Martians from the conflict of the Worlds. MsNBC isn't undemanding and balanced yet seems to have misplaced something over the years. McCain - Palin 2008 - a sparkling distinction!

Not anymore. And I don't watch NBC, CNN or any other news media on T.V.

I use the internet. :D Both sides have been and are biased, not just Fox, not just CNN, not just NBC. I use to watch Fox, until they truly began putting false accusations on there and I became disgusted. NBC wasn't any better, but at least they didn't compare somebody to a terrorist because of their name.

Like I said, I use the internet because it seems least biased for now.

I once watched a show called "Red Eye" in the wee hours of the morning and I thought it was an awful show! They spent the entire time making fun of people and being prejudiced and just plain mean. I wondered how a show like this could even be watched... anyone think differently about this show?

I admit it.

I watch Fox News every day starting with Fox and Friends.

The insanity of that train wreck known as Fox "News" is amusing and a little sad at the same time.

you're right fox news is pretty good but this question should be directed to all people and not just obama supporters. I've watched fox news since i was 15. so i know it is good.

Thanks for taking that leap and tuning into the truth. Unfortunately, it was a little too late. Now we are stuck with an imbecile for a president and our future looks grim. I wish you and your independent cohorts would have tuned in during the election.

Are you kidding, and turn off American Idol?!

They prefer to get their news from Jon Stewart, SNL and Letterman.
