Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday gave virtual command of his government to 63-year old Congress President Sonia Gandhi to advise and guide the government on its policies and programmes.

In her second reincarnation as the chairperson of the National Advisory Council (NAC), Gandhi has been granted the status and facilities of a cabinet minister. She returns to the post exactly four years and six days after she resigned on March 23, 2006 to escape disqualification under Article 102(a) for holding an office of profit.

Powers: The post gives her powers to summon government files that are otherwise not accessible to anybody not sworn in specifically by the president. She also gets powers to question decisions of the government and advise changes.

In real we have Kingly status state in India now where a King comes from only one family and his ministers are appointed by their services to the King.Here Manmohan Sing is only that "Prdhanmantri" of Kingly ruled state on mercy of King.All powers are in the hands of King only.

User Sudan, why she is anxious? First of all, who said she is anxious? That is you. That is your speculation, and I don't want to answer speculations. And no one cares what RSS accepts her as or not, it Indian law that accepts her as Indian, and it is Indian citizens and good Indian citizens who accepts her as Good Indian Citizens and that is why they vote for Congress lead by her and rejects her opponent parties.
