No. And as much as the left has no respect for Obama, I feel the same and more for Bachmann and her massive hypocricy and usage of the political system to gain celebrity for personal gain. She is a joke.

@Vinny says, where is the asker making fun of her church? He's making fun of her, not her church.
I agree that the Bible says that but I don't agree with doing whatever my husband tell me to do without regard for my feelings and welfare. She was obviously playing up to her audience. Plain and simple.

No, I do not agree with Mrs. Bachmann's stance on submission, calling gays "barbarians," or completely misunderstanding history and science.
Any conservatives who do not associate with the craziest of the Evangelical Right should IMMEDIATELY end their support for Bachmann.

Did God also tell her husband to attend a terrible law school?
I don't care what private arrangement couples have regarding sex, dominance, employment, children, whatever, but that just wouldn't work for me in my own relationship. I'm not a submissive person in the least. I defer to my boyfriend when he knows more about a subject than I do and vice versa. If anything, I'm the dominant and decisive one on most issues.

I am not married but essentially am. We are both submissive to each other and often help one another out. She is submissive sometimes and I am others. We definitely have gender roles because they are a fact of life. Anyone who denies that is a fool. She has no idea how to fix the furnace and I have no idea how to prune the rose bushes.
Men and women are different.

Yes. But God also says that husbands should listen to their wives. And to treat them as they would their own flesh. He didn't make this arrangement so that husbands could be abusive towards their wives. I wish more husbands understood this. Maybe well treated wives would be naturally more submissive.

Well, she's a Christian woman....and Christians are to follow the edicts of scripture.....and scripture says "Wives submit yourselves to your husbands"....soooo, I'm not really seeing an issue. She's a Christian, that's her personal belief. Why hate?

From the opinions that congress should be investigated for un-American activities, to the shot heard round the world (start of the American revolution to you Tea baggers) being fired from New Hampshire (actually; Massachusetts) and stating that "Everything I learned, I learned in Iowa" (she moved to Minnesota when she was 11) this woman is a idiot. She will probably win in Iowa since it is predominantly Evangelical Christian (on the right anyway) and will wither on the vine after that. Just because she is semi-attractive doesn't make her smart (i.e. Sarah Palin). But her idea of her and Palin mud-wrestling deserves revisiting. Support a womans right to control her own body!!

I cherish my submissive wife. Somehow her submission has more power than anything I have ever witnessed from a human being....it increases my desire to protect her, while creating a respect for her over anyone I will ever know.

And? I'd rather have a conservative/Christian wife than some ugly, hairly liberal woman smacking me around all the time.
