How do you imagine that's worked out for those American medical refugees?

Put another way: How many tens of months does it take before the AVERAGE patient is able to be seen by a specialist in Canada?

Please note the emphasis on 'average', as certain classes of patients wait longer than the average - sometimes much longer.

I know that's a "Doh!", but still, sometimes you just have to pound it in, right.

No one is going to Canada, with their subpar quality health care. Canadians are coming to America for treatment.

I don't understand what is the big deal about scheduling non-emergency services well in advance. What's the big rush? People make appointments for dental check ups, cardiac check ups, and so on a year in advance and it's not a big deal. You know you need test XYZ every 3 years so you get your appointment in advance, not at the last minute. Manage things better for yourself and quit complaining.

Canada's healthcare system is attractive actually and Canadians live longer than Americans, in spite of the supposedly long waits. Seeing a doctor and get a procedure done late is better than not being able to afford to see a doctor and not being able to afford a procedure.

I don't know that many Americans have moved to Canada but the numbers have increased above normal since Trump became president. They still have to be able to find jobs and have skills that Canada wants.

All who thought that health care disaster is good learned they were wrong. I only hope they lived to tell about it.
