Yeah, I just switched today. The nice thing about DuckDuckGo is that it won't give my search information to other companies. I got tired of seeing ads for things that I searched for a few minutes ago. It's not that DuckDuckGo prevents your history from being recorded or anything like that. The point of it is that it doesn't give your search information to companies that want to sell you stuff. I would have switched earlier, but it wasn't until today that I realized that my Keyword Search widget was overriding Safari's default search engine. I took care that and now I can use DuckDuckGo right in Safari's unified URL bar.

I doesn't matter. Apple and Microsoft record every site you go to regardless of the Browser you use.
