No. Al Green already introduced impeachment articles on the House floor and only 40 democrats voted in favor of proceeding to hearings. That's barely 1/5th of House Democrats.
Which means democrats could hold every single seat in the House, and 4/5th of the chamber would have still voted against the mere motion to consider.
Furthermore, Al Green's Articles of Impeachment was only a list of gripes about Trump. There were no actual criminal charges in it. Which means the Constitutional criteria for impeachment were not met, that is, a conviction of a high crime or misdemeamor.
Which means even if the House voted in favor of impeachment and the Senate to convict, the entire thing would be overturned by the Supreme Court so fast your head will spin, and I'd be suprised if you could even get Ruth Bader Ginsburg to dissent on that.
Impeachment can only be done on crimes, not on griping.
Unless Mueller eventually pulls something tangible out of the sky by way of a crime, then Trump will NOT be impeached, regardless of the makeup of congress.
I can't say much for congressional democrats, but at least that vote showed that most of them aren't outright insane like Al Green and Maxine Waters.
