Trump wants to deport illegals with criminal records. There is no reason this country should have illegal immigrants who cause crimes. We have enough crime as it is and do not need more. If you want to be here illegally, don't commit crimes. Media is reporting it wrong, they simply say he is deporting illegal immigrants. He wants to deport bad illegal immigrants. People are out on the streets protesting against this because they think its something else. Lets stop crying about the election already and get over it. There were no ideal candidates. We have a system, the system has chosen a winner, end of story.

In the end, if he can get rid of the bad illegals and secure the border (not only building a wall) but thats airports and through Canada the country will be a little safer. Then there will be much more important things to do than to deport the other illegal immigrants. That will never happen. Trump knows it, Congress knows it, and the people should know it too. There are many immigrants who do not have status here who are upstanding people and a very wonderful individuals. I personally know people who do not have status. I believe that the government will make some kind of program for the reminder of immigrants for a path to citizenship. This will increase tax revenue big time. Everybody should pay their fair share of taxes if they want to live here though.

Hopefully as soon as possible. The sooner he can get rid of those Han banging thugs and rapists who can tbe bothered to respect the basic law for immigrating here legally , the better we wil be.

My mother Is Mexican she came here legally and became a citizen; why can't the illegal trash do the same? Because the illegals are all mostly the criminals of Mexico that the Mexican government loves to see leave Mexico and no longer be their problem . The good Mexicans who are educated and half way decent people come legally. The MS-13 thugs, rapists and murderers come illegally. Fact.

Well, he's not inaugurated yet.

When a President wins an election (and is not incumbent), they move into the White House and start their work on January 20th. That's called "Inauguration Day".

And he will very soon after he is inaugurated. He will push for tougher border laws, negotiate with the government of Mexico to get a wall erected on the border (and hopefully get them to pay for it) and encourage deportation reports on illegal immigrants. He will also push tougher laws on illegal immigration and require an immediate deportation on any illegal immigrant in the country that is reported.

Donald Trump will be the president on January 20, 2017. I'm sure that none of his promises can be acted upon before that.

Trump has indicated that he initially plans on deporting between 2 to 3 million illegal immigrants (not all Mexican by the way) that have criminal records. He has not indicated where he got these figures from or exactly how he plans on doing so which means we will have to wait and see how accurate these figures are and the procedures he plans on implementing. He has not made any further statements as to if he plans on proceeding with his plan to deport the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the country. If he were to do this it is estimated that it will cost the US approximately 2 Trillion dollars both in the cost required to deal with the immigrants as well as the economic cost to the US. Remember that most illegal immigrants are not criminals and many are doing jobs that the average US citizen does not want, at least at the current rate of pay. If he sticks just to those who break the law then however there will possibly a net benefit to the US so, as I said, we will have to see what happens.

You have to know that even if he did keep his promise, much time and processing will have to be given to do so. He's not President yet, people will have to wait till Obama steps down. And then more waiting time will be needed to see if they do let him carry out his plans. It's not an easy task to do, so all you need to be is patient.

But you have to realize that no politician has kept all their promises. Every President had promised something juicy for the people who they were appealing to, but they didn't. People should have realized by now that 80% of the things that candidates say are lies, stuff made up to get em elected, or written by people who are going to use them.

So as for your answer, no one really knows. If someone does know, they're not gonna say it right away. Make sense?

Not likely since he never made such a promise. He did indicate that violent criminals that were illegally in the United States would be expelled. Your qustion is based on many of the lies and disinformation form MSNBC and CNN.

It sounds to me as if you're the impatient one, wanting Trump to begin the exportation of the criminal immigrants, which he promised to do. Well I expect he'll have a plan in place on January 20, 20217 when he becomes our 45th. President of the United States. Until that date...don't expect him to have the authority to do much of anything!

Do I think Trump will increase spending for Boarder Patrol, You bet; Do I think illegals who commit crimes will be deported vs. local police releasing them? You Bet, Do I think Trump will put the squeeze on those cities which give sanctuary, You Bet

For all you people really believing he will build a wall, chances are he won t. The wall is projected to cost 10 nillion dollars and where do you think most of that money will come from? Most likely not Federal but taxes emposed on all Americans. Also I just want to let everyone know that I think that you shouldn t come here illegally but there is a problem between Mexico and the U.S where they make it extremely difficult to get a visa or legally pass into the U.S. My suggestion is instead of wasting tons of money on a wall why not just use a good amount of the National Guard( since they don t do as much except in certain cases) and basically arm the wall? Seems a whole lot more effective if you ask me, If I was a immigrant and I saw armed soldiers across the border I would run away but If I saw a wall I would just stop and try and figure out ways to get around it and chances are I probably will find a way. A wall just does nothing if you ask me...just arm the wall until we figure out how to fix the issue with the legalization system.

I think Trump just wants to deport Illegal immigrants that are in the prison system (There is currently 1.9 million in the prison system). After that he wants to build a wall and ramp up border security, because illegal immigration hurts the middle class and the poor, while benefiting the super rich who want cheap labor. I know Donald Trump said he wants this illegal immigration task force, but everyone knows this is ridiculous, and you are ridiculous if you believe it ( Americans would never get behind a secret task force that would start rounding up illegal immigrants in the middle of the night and flying them back to their respective countries.) The left wing media was trying to assassinate is character by painting him as a far right megalomanic and liken him to Hitler, and they succeeded in many ways. The reality is Trump is a classic liberal who is also a American Nationalist. If you followed the media throughout the presidential race objectively, they were trying to destroy Trump. For example, They paid protesters to cause violence at Trump rallies (which is illegal), there were at least 20 sexual harassment cases opened up against Trump in the last year ( Since he won the presidency all have been dropped), and called him racist, sexist, xenophobic, and every name under the sun. Maybe you are young, but presidents promise ridiculous things that people know they can't achieve. The reality is Trump gets a lot of hate, but he works his *** off, is very intelligent, has always had a good team around him, and is an alpha male good leader.

Whatever he does, things will probably work out just fine. There is no need for Usa to take upon themselfs criminal immigrants. He tells himself that he has many latin american/hispanic people that work for him.

The man is not a nazi. He is just trying to make some kinda order.

Everyone with power in the end becomes narssisist, and only care about themselfs...

Let us hope that since Donald Trump was born in to money, he might not have this endorsment for vanity like others with power get.

Obama in the end did not exactly do extraordinary things.....he was not a green minded president....he seemed to love the oil industri just as the other man....

As things are now....I think people should just give Donald Trump a chance.

When and if he dissapoints and becomes Hitler....then people should deff. protest.

Trump has said he will get rid of the criminals and not the regular, hard-working illegals. In fact, he recently said they were good people.

It's actually quite funny, he duped the average and lowly educated voter that did no research into him whatsoever. You say liberals are brainwashed by the mainstream media but listen to everything Trump says without question and doing any actual research into the type of person he is. Trump has shown signs of liberal viewpoints throughout his life and only became a Republican to win the election. This has shown in his desire to have Obama as his council, his surprise at how Obamacare has good parts, and Trump's flip-flopping on the wall and immigration issues.

Many Trump supporters have been freaking out over this and it is kind of funny to watch while intriguing to see how he seems to be changing his colors into something more desirable.

Some people have acknowledged this, but I'll reiterate-- our country has a system of checks and balances in place to prevent any single individual from tearing down the whole structure. Republicans are gaining control of all three legs of the government, but they are working within a system that existed long before they were born and developed with the visionary anticipation that things like this could happen. Trump can do a lot, apparently he can even buy the presidency, but that does not mean he can unilaterally implement radical changes which are violently contrary to what is already in place. It takes time, a lot of time, to make change. Think of it like this-- this man is on board a battleship, and he has an oar made of solid gold. Even with all of his rowing, and even all of the galley slaves he can buy with it, he cannot turn the battleship around.

This is a conquest for him, and for the next four years, he will be our President + Celebrity. A Preslebrity. What he does or does not do regarding his campaign promises will be immaterial in the long run. We've elected someone so we can watch him dance and then chatter endlessly about it.

Will he begin a mass exportation of illegal immigrants? Only if the system that's in place allows him to, and even then, only if he actually wants to try.

He sold this country the image of what he thought we wanted; who knows what he's actually going to do. It's out of our hands now. But even with all of his money, this country and its history is larger than he will ever be.

My only concern is that he might get us involved in another major war. I am too old for the draft, but regardless of that, I hate seeing people go to war and die. I'll spend the next four years, whenever I think of politics, trying to convince myself that he was the right choice after all. What else can we do now?

This is not a heartless man. Illegal immigrants that have been here for years as respectable citizens will be given an opportunity to get their papers in order. It is the terrorists, the thugs, drug runners, criminals that must be deported.

Mexico doesn't want them so they allowed them to cross the border. Cheaper than keeping them in prison.

I believe President Trump will get Mexico to build the border or he will dump the illegals on them and they certainly do not want that. All Mexican-Americans need to learn English. The language barrier is their problem and not the American people. If they want a job, speak English. The American people are tired of their children being forced to learn a foreign language because of the Hispanic population in America. This is a problem too. If they want to stay in the USA so badly, then learn English. I have seen Hispanics that can speak some English use this barrier against the American so they will not have to listen to them. "No speak a English." That is insulting to an American. If I go to their land, I will learn Spanish so why when they come here should they not learn to speak English? They should.

Trump has also promised to start deporting illegal immigrants as soon as he takes office and to triple the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, but this too would be expensive and would require appropriations. Most of the 11 million illegal immigrants have been here over five years, so they’re entitled to a hearing before action is taken. The system for conducting those hearings isn’t nearly ready to handle millions of immigrants suddenly flooding it.

He was lying. You have to be a ******* moron to think that he could really do all the things he "promised" during his campaign.

There is no way he can deport ALL the illegal immigrants theres too many and it would cost a fortune.

Trump is going to make Mexico pay for the wall? Yea thats not going to happen, the Mexican president said it himself that there is no way in hell he is paying for a damn wall.

Also now that Trump is president (elect) now he is shaking hands with Obama after he bashed him numerous times. Now obama care is okay?

Trump now thanking Hillary for the work she has done for this country after he said that if he was elected president he would put Hillary in jail..yea he's not going to do that either.

Wake up! He just said all those crazy things to get attention and get people to vote for him. He is nothing but a hypocrite.

Oh and you know what else he was lying about ..making america great again ...yea he's not going to do that either.

Ideally the courageous officers of the border patrol would ignore 0bama’s executive order to disregard enforcement the immigration law and commence deportations today, now. They can start by deporting 0bama back to Kenya.

In the meantime, it is a great time to be a gringo. Latina women are scrambling to get married or have an anchor baby. I’ve received oral satisfaction from three different muchachas since Trump’s election. Two were during lunch in the car! Just say things like, “You’re so pretty, I can’t believe you’re not married yet” and they’ll go down like they’re trying to suck a passport out of your wiener. Of course, don’t really marry them. That would be crazy. California is a community property state – you’ll have to give her half unless you have an airtight prenup.

Get them while the getting is good! Low hanging fruit makes easy picking.

Donald Trump is not yet President - first there is the inauguration taking the oath of office and etc. From that moment Trump if President, Commander in Chief, &etc. He can then start putting his plan together to round up drug pushers, criminals of all kinds and so forth. From my perspective, I do not think the job will be done in the four years which he has - instead, the job will have to become a permanent fixture of US Law Enforcement.

I have this gut feeling that a lot of cops will be free to shoot dead a lot of criminals knowing there will not be enough room for them in the already over crowded prisons.

Look at what's already happening in the Philippines - death of criminals on a mass scale.

Gonna be a tough few years of the clean up during which a lot of innocent folk will end up dead.

Trial by Jury and etc.

Donald Trump, cannot do anything, but talk about things, until he is sworn in as the president of the United States?

but you most likely, won't have to wait too long, before the president starts yanking some chains, and pushing peoples buttons, to get the united states, prepared to be overhauled, as much as he will be able to do!

many country leaders make promises, that because they do not know all the circumstances, connected to everything, discover, that they can't really do that! however, he will make important changes, and the donald knows, the true power that women have, and control!

Do you realize that President Barack Obama has upheld the immigration laws and deported more illegals than any other president? He keeps taking them back, and they keep crossing the borders into the USA.

There is a lot of talk of the Border Patrol securing the southern border, but what about our northern border? The hijackers that were responsible for 9-11 crossed into the USA through our northern border. My son used to be in the Army and he worked Border Patrol on the northern border. He said they used to catch 2-5 people every night crossing Lake Erie.

The promises a politician makes while campaigning don't mean anything. Those promises are just a way to get suckers to vote for that politician. The real promises will be made in the inaugural address in January. The wall and the immigrants won't even be mentioned then, because they were empty campaign promises.
2016-11-15 13:59:34 UTC
Trump isn't going to be able to do anything he promised.

Get ready.

Apparently, he has even bogged down what is always an orderly transition of power from the outgoing President to the new incoming President.

Not surprising, coming from a businessman whose success rate is ONLY 33%. The man's an idiot riding on his daddy's money. The reason he is such a blow-hard conceited man is because even he knows he's inferior.
2016-11-16 10:00:36 UTC
If you really want to help, contact the Trump transition team and tell them you want to work on the logistics team doing the deportation of illegals.

Otherwise, please be patient. There are over 3,000 appointments to be made in just 2 months and lots of other things to do to ensure the new Administration is ready to go on Day 1. I can guarantee that the deportation will not begin in the first week; even the first month doesn't look probable.

I honestly think the whole wall thing was blown out of proportion. Yes there will be reform, but he's not going to have people being deported by the masses like he claimed. And that wall that he's talking about won't happen overnight anyway. But I do think at least from Trump's presidency on out, the laws will gradually become more strict.

Like a big dumb fish, many Americans took the bait. All these immigrants are here for jobs... hired by businesses. You think business is going to see their cheap labor disappear? Hardly, politicians know where the money comes from to fund their campaigns. When it comes time to deal with this issue, it will get swept under the carpet. And most Americans will be so busy trying to figure out how to pay for their next meal because Trump eliminated their Social Security check.

My husband is an illegal immigrant we have 3 kids one not his from before but he treats them all the same I'm just commenting thank you for the ones not being so negative that's all I been reading for weeks from my family and friends even so seeing some of these

comments gives me hope in humanity also to clear things up the public health department takes both our income but will not include him as a person therefore we don't get any govnerment help our kids get Medicaid which we have to pay for every month ( thought that was free but guess not) if we did get approved it would be for me and the kids not him illegals can't get any help if he was American I'd probably get Medicaid because our family of 5 they count as 4 with both our income I wish all the rumors was true also they do get taxes, Medicare, ssi and state tax with held from their check they are just not intitled to Recieve anything, honestly they're helping because of all the unclaimed tax is going to the govnerment

A lot of (all of it maybe) will be deporting people who are arrested or show up within the system.

Basically, there are government processes that exist, and the processes wont deport, as far as I understand it, he is just saying deport. As far as finding people and rounding them up, I don't really expect it.

A person can say "deport" but who? When? where? and why?

If the "who, when, where and why" involves police whom have arrested people for crimes, or stopped people or something, it's then not a massive deport out of people, but just a government administrated thing that gradually moves a flow of people over time, in a consistent way.

But the issue then is doe the local government wish to comply? Will the local police report people to the Federal Government?

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-los-angeles-police-immigration-20161114-story.html

LAPD does not wish to do this. But some departments in some jurisdictions may think this is a great idea.

To be honest as a Attractive mixed black guy I agree . Even though I am terrified and spontaneous about what's going to happen to America and even though I'm not a big fan of Trump; I however do think that people who commit crimes needs to go... That would make people feel more secure and safe when walking out the house or just going anywhere in general. The thing about Trump is that he don't need to make rules just for people of color. He needs to make rules for EVERYONE. Trump is somewhat a racist.... Mostly all religious and strict people voted for him... and that is a True fact.

When? Never.

His chief strategist was recorded admitting to RNC leaders back in April that Trump was just playing a role to get supporters and votes.

And it was a stroke of political genius to harness the lunatic fringe vote. Nobody's ever tried that before.

But now that he got what he wanted - namely, elected - he's going to go back to being his normal self.

His idiot supporters should've known better than to believe any politician's pie-in-the-sky promises.

Even a first-time newbie politician like Trump whose business empire was built on scamming dolts & dummies.

Plus he might end up in prison before he can get sworn into the white house:

the Republican GOP has promised to build a wall and deport the more than 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

Near record numbers of migrants are flowing into the U.S., in October 2016, border patrol officials captured just over 46,000 people who were trying to sneak in between official ports of entry, up 16 percent over the previous month.

Apprehensions by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the year ended Sept. 30, 2016, totaled almost 409,000, up 23 percent over fiscal 2015. there were 8000-from different countries around the world, but about 400,000 from mexico. this is the reason for the fense. america is a soverign country and does have the right to enforce its border, call-it-what you will.

Trump and Vitter, along with other opponents of detainer policies, argue that they protect immigrants who have committed violent crimes—the “bad hombres” Trump infamously described during the final presidential debate. Vitter’s law was introduced following the death of Kathryn Steinle, a 32-year-old who was shot by Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an undocumented immigrant with a nonviolent felony record, in San Francisco last July.

==================

Trump Administration would execute on the following ten-point plan to restore integrity to our immigration system, protect our communities, and put America first:

[1]. Build a Wall on the Southern Border

[2].End Catch-and-Release

[3].Zero Tolerance for Criminal Aliens

[4].Block Funding for Sanctuary Cities

[5].Cancel Unconstitutional Executive Orders & Enforce All Immigration Laws

[6].Suspend the Issuance of Visas to Any Place Where Adequate

Screening Cannot Occur

[7].Ensure that Other Countries Take Their People Back

When We Order Them Deported

[8].Finally Complete the Biometric Entry-Exit Visa Tracking System

[9].Turn Off the Jobs and Benefits Magnet

[10.] Reform Legal immigration to Serve the Best Interests

of America and its Workers

Through thatr whole episode he was babbling incoherently. Rape & murder? You have to look no further than the Bush family to tell you the opposite, that Mexians are extra family people, catholics in fact. And the only kernel of truth to the "rape" allegation is that they are macho. Notice that neither the blacks nor the latinos are plausible targets for feminism. Trump was just jealous. If he did what he threatened it would be an international issue of crimes against humanity--I don't think the crime rate is higher among illegals. He just makes stuff up from the whole cloth. "They don't send us their best."? Nobody is sending anything.

It would seem that to accomplish many of Trumps intended steps against illegals, criminal or not, he will have to issue several "Executive Orders" just for starters.

Strange that he would do this given that the Republican Right Wing has ceaselessly accused President Obama for behaving like a dictator for issuing but one Executive Order concerning Immigrants.
2016-11-13 10:31:00 UTC
I don't think there will be mass deportation of illegal immigrants. However, there will be deportation of criminals and terrorists who has no business coming here in the first place. Also, he is going to build a stronger wall to keep America a safe nation.

He already has, sort of. I have been reading about illegals heading back across the border now. They don't want to wait for him to get into office to find out what he is going to do.

I'm sure they'll sneak back in if trump proves to be soft on the issue.

I personally believe it's SUPER unfair that he won and that he shouldn't do what he's promised to do because if he actually does them, that'll make him a bigger asshole. He should say on TV that he changed his mind and won't do it! Actually, now that I think about it, maybe immigrants SHOULD only come here legally? Maybe. But, still, he's a horrible thought of a president, and he's sexist, racist, and everything else in the world that's just B- A.D! He should be impeached or fired, and I hope we get that soon.

Thank you.

live in their homes.Try going to Mexico illegally and see what happens.

You and everyone trying to slam Mr.Trump should watch this

Trump has also promised to start deporting illegal immigrants as soon as he takes office and to triple the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents,

Trump won't do 1/80 of any of the things he led many to believe. Why? Because he is a big liar! He was already caught in a whopper on 60 Minutes. Tsk-tsk.

Since coming to office in 2009, Obama's government has deported more than 2.5 million people—up 23% from the George W. Bush years. More shockingly, Obama is now on pace to deport more people than the sum of all 19 presidents who governed the United States from 1892-2000, according to government data.

I think his main concern will be job creation for all the hard pressed middle class followed by the illegal immigrant issue. I think all sides will be happy to see the drug gangsters which are a blight on US cities deported, then those that are working but have not have papers will be given an opportunity to sort it within a given time period or they will be asked to leave and failing that deported.

After World War One the US Government conducted the Palmer Raids, where agents rounded up thousands of radicals and commies all over this country. Yes it takes time, maybe a few years. But it can be done. It was done. We can round up illegal aliens and deport them. Let the left sqawk. We care more about illegals in this country than we do our own citizens. Who cares about these people.

He won't. I remember him saying somewhere that illegal immigrants that are here and criminal records are relatively clean as well as having been here for a length of time and I believe there was an offer of amnesty...which is basically a pardon.

1) America will a white minority country before 2050.

In 2050, 47% of the U.S. population will be non-Hispanic white.

In 1950, white population was about 90% in USA.

1n 1980, white population was about 80% in USA

in 2000, white population was about 70% in USA

Now, white population is about 60% in USA

2) Latinos have passed whites as the largest ethnic group in California in 2015.

As recently as 1970, eight out of 10 Californians were white.

3) If Hillary Clinton wins, USA will be the United States of Latinos.

Hillary needs blacks, Latinos, Asians, refugees, illegal immigrants to support her.

Hillary and her support can get all those blacks, Latinos, Asians, refugees, illegal immigrants.

--They should get what they ask for,

it is like Germany, I think another 10 million refugees are good for Germany.

- They can have California,

And they can have a few million more Latinos in California,

Hillary needs blacks and illegal immigrants to support her.

Hillary will give all illegal immigrants a citizenship.

All illegals have the legal right to a court hearing(s) prior to deportation.

I am sure the court docket is already packed full for the foreseeable future.

The question begs if any traffic or misdemeanor offenses are going to used as reason for deportation. Right now only a pending or convicted felony offenses can get someone deported or at least a investigation started by ICE..

Then failing that process, the person has to be sent back to their country of origin.

The US taxpayer will pay for the ticket back to the country of origin.

You can not just dump them on the Mexican side of the border.

Having worked at LMDC, Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, the local jail (and all local jails) have only so much bed space for all (even local) inmates. And all adult jails can not have minors (under age 18) in the facility. This is a federal law. The minors would have to be sent to a Juvenile agency. Even there, the local JCYC , Jefferson County Youth Center, is filled up with minor (local) offenders.

The local jails could not handle any influx of deportation only inmates on an ICE Immigration holder. If an illegal was in on local criminal charge(s) + ICE detainer then ICE has to wait until all local (or other agency(ies)) charges are cleared or disposition. If an illegal has been already sentenced in a court of law, they have to serve out any local , state or federal sentence(s), then be deported.A copy of the deportation order is sent with the inmate to the facility. Along with any other paperwork. After the sentence(s) are served out, from the jail/ prison the inmate is sent to a Federal deportation facility. ICE has 72 hours, barring legal holidays or weekends, to pick an illegal inmate after the sentence(s) has been served out or court ordered release on the criminal charges at the given facility. The local cops can not pick up and arrest anyone unless they have a NCIC hit on them or court ordered/ agency warrant. The police can not mass arrest people but have to have their name, dob, etc...to arrest them+ what I just typed.

Note: All inmates including illegal ones are subject and protected to federal laws on inmate housing, medical, feeding , clothing, access to legal services and other basic services.

When an inmate is in custody it is the responsibility of the agency/facility to abide and follow under these federal laws. Failure to do so, the facility will have the wrath of the court system and Federal Government on said facility and local, state or federal government department(s). This includes any inmate jail /prison /other facility overcrowding.

First of all, it is logistically "impossible" to deport every undocumented person in the U.S. Second, the primary group of illegals that Trump will focus on are the illegals who currently in America's jails and prisons (2 to 3 million people). Third, Trump will focus on deporting every "new" undocumented person who gets arrested and detained. Fourth, Trump will use an "Executive Order" to cut funding from all sanctuary cities who refuse to assist federal agencies in identifying illegal aliens to assist the feds in deporting them. Fifth, Trump will put the squeeze on employers who "hire" undocumented people, which will lead to millions of additional undocumented people "self deporting", while many others will be disincentivized from entering the U.S.

There's nothing racist about wanting people to immigrate to our country legally. They should have to pay taxes just like everyone else. Why should they get to work and keep a $600 pay check in its entirety? If I work and make $600, it's barely over $400 after Uncle Sam reaches for his cut. Im a form believer that anyone should be able to come to America as long as they're not violent criminals, terrorists, or drug dealers. The biggest part of locking down borders is to keep drugs and people who bring them out of our country. We want to make it a safe country for our children.

Now I'll be the first to admit, obtaining citizenship is harder than it should be. As long as a person passes a background check, provides proof of income, and proof of residency, they should become citizens. Problem solved. Give them identification, and then tax their asses like you do the rest of us.

First, step up border patrol enforcement federal funds , then take action, i.e. deportation after good fingerprinting, of those in federal custody. Next withhold federal funds from those states and cities who do not assist in enforcing the federal laws. no more sanctuary cities. Give the guy a chance.

One thing you don't understand about Trump--he truly is a con man who will say anything to get his way. As little as two years ago he stated that he favored a pathway to citizenship. According to his own books, his "Art of the Deal" method is to make outrageous demands, then to soften them so he can make opponents feel that he is really compromising with them. He imported Polish workers to work on Trump Taj Mahal, and he imported models from all over the world then used them in his modeling agency, even though he had gotten visas for them that did not permit them to work in the U.S. He's not going to really deport anyone. He knew that he could get followers with that kind of rhetoric, and now that he's got the power he craved, he's going to ignore them. He did it with contractors who did work for him by agreeing to pay what he owed them, then once the work was done he MIGHT pay them pennies on the dollar. He did it with Trump U students by promising to teach them his strategies, then turning them over to "teachers" who had little or no experience, and sometimes not even giving them course materials. He doesn't care who he hurts, or who he lies to, as long as he gets what he wants from them.

As much as racism sickens me, a lot of people are sick and tired of not being able to get jobs. Trump isn't the heartless monster everyone makes him out to be. Hillary doesn't care about us or about doing the "right" thing any more than Trump does.

There are lots of hardworking people that come here and deserve a chance and I don't even think Trump would deny that. However, there is this preconceived idea that immigrants coming here for a better life are the ONLY "forgotten" statistic of people.

This is coming from someone who speaks fluent Spanish and who has interpreter credentials.

I'm a college graduate, fluent in two languages and I speak three others. As I mentioned, I'm a certified interpreter. I've been searching diligently for a job and I've gotten the door slammed in my nose more times than I can count. A lot of those same places have handed jobs to illegal immigrants. I'm not against immigrants coming here to work, it's the ones that come illegally and then getting preferential treatment that angers me.

It's completely unfair that illegal immigrants get services and benefits for free and I haven't been able to get a cracker crumb. Is my anger and frustration over this situation racist? Let's see how the world views this situation. Life is better in Canada than in USA and I would love to go live in Canada for a better life. They have immigration laws to circumvent, and if I went there illegally, and I possessed no skills, and expected to be given work it wouldn't be tolerated. Are THEY racist?

I would LOVE to go to Spain and have a better life over there but their immigration policies are so tough that they're almost impossible. I wish they would make it easier for a non EU national to work or teach there. I might have been born in USA but I didn't get to choose where I was born. I don't hate Americans, I just love Spain more. I would just be grateful to be given a chance to work and become a citizen of Spain. I certainly wouldn't expect them to hand me a job, at the expense of their citizens, if I were illegal over there.

I'm not anti immigration or even anti illegals, and I have no problem with policies that would make it easier to come here illegally, and I have NO problem with people speaking Spanish (duh, I speak it), but when I see equally deserving citizens getting the shaft and the illegals being put first, it makes me angry because that is just not right. When there are 95 million American citizens out of work, that is just not right. When a hard working girl who put herself through college and graduated with honors and diligently seeks employment, can't get it, gets one door in the nose after another and then the same employer hands a job to an illegal immigrant, that's not right. I've been told, "You won't get a job, just volunteer or something." I'm tired of being treated like I have an entitled attitude, tired of being forgotten, tired of getting the shaft from my own government and tired of living in third world conditions in the so called Land Of Opportunity. I do not love Donald Trump but I would choose him over Hitlery any day.

People have chosen Trump as the President because they are sick of being forgotten, sick of DILIGENTLY searching for work and being treated like the scum of the earth because they can't find it, sick of getting the shaft and sick of the hopelessness. There is no reason in this world college educated young people should be going without jobs. There is no reason in this world that grown men should be forced to live at home, through NO CHOICE of their own. This isn't racism or hate. Anyone would feel this way.

It remains to be seen the use and abuse that Trump will make thru presidential mandates. Our system has rules that he must make work for him but the will of the people is that we get that element out of the country.

It takes time to find out who the criminals are, then round them up, and get them out, there can be no " mass deportations" in minutes like you think, they may number 3-5 million, but ay take 2-3 years to complete.

Who
2016-11-13 12:05:07 UTC
There is a HUGE difference between preventing illegals coming in and getting rid of them once they are in

once they are in your first problem is finding and identifying them

thsn suppose they marry a US citizen and have children

Suppose you have a US citizen employing illegal immigrants

how would you find out they are illegal (the employer might not know)? why would you even check if they are illegal? - (you gonna check everybody in the US?)

So they gets a tipoff all that happens then is people (maybe illegal immigrants) just keep phoning in more and more tipoffs

It would be non-stop checking employer after employer, and that DONT include illegals working for themselves or other illegal immigrants

suppose that illegal is a key worker and without him the employers business would be in deep sh//t and maybe have to close? - you gonna risk putting that company out of business and workers out of a job for 1 illegal immigrant?

sounds easy and appeals to out of work voters "deport all illegal immigrants" but the reality is different

my question is

where exactly does he plan deporting them to?

I assume mexico

So what if mexico refuses to allow them in and states they aint from mexico, whats he gonna do then?

Under UN rules he can only deport to their country of origin (i.e where they were born)

just cos they speak spanish dont prove they came from mexico, and what about any others who dont speak spanish?

Whats he gonna do if he cant prove where they came from?

You think hes gonna bus them to the border and "push" them over the border into mexico?

Cant wait to see the tv reporting from mexico when that happens

deport them to mexico then mexico can sue under international; law and will win

(it mexico has their wits about them - they could agree to take them IF the US pays them a "bounty"

Mexico could become rich as a result

(help "illegals" cross the border (maybe for a fee) then the US pays them a fee to take them back

It would be a license to print money)

(and same goes for violent criminals - where exactly is he gonna deport THEM if he cant prove where they came from?
2016-11-13 15:57:16 UTC
Crashing the US economy and going full-bore police state will probably do it. Learn Spanish/French so you can flee to Latin America/West Africa!

Don't come to China; we got too many cry-baby American missionaries pretending to teach English already.
