I think it was Newt Gingrich.
They thought he was crazy for telling them that we'll win back the House, they didn't stand with him and yet he prevailed.
In 1994, the Republicans led by Newt Gingrich won back the House after 40 years and passed through one of the greatest chunks of legislation in history, the Contract of America.

Newt Gingrich was responsible for 11 million new jobs created, he is the last person to have cut welfare and he stopped our military powers from going to the UN.

Newt Gingrich carried on the Reagan Revolution. Now, Reagan's team are behind him and the momentum is building.
The lies that the liberal media are throwing out, no longer work. They may have derailed the Cain Train, but Gingrich is here to stay.

Imagine this... in the debates Romney says "Obama... your healthcare plan is terrible!".
Obama responds "Mitt... I copied yours".

How would he respond?

Newt Gingrich is a fighter, a leader and a Reaganite.

The Republican party has denied the individuals the Peoples' obtrusive contribution to be the progressing supplement of the 75% that certainly generates nearly all of the country's GDP. ! The Republican party has accomplished so, for occasion, via coining such economic absurdities because of the fact the illusionary "trickle down result" that cowboy Reaganomics sought to foretell as foolproof. The party's out-dated concept of racist anti-female "conservatism" and the duplicity of its deranged Neocon element that accompanied "warring preemption" because of the fact the hallmark of the "American century" have the two in result led the country quite to the abject catastrophe that that is now having to withstand.

That would be a terrible response on Obama's part. Obviously Romney will have some sort of canned answer against such an accusation, only making Obama appear weak and almost childish with such a retort.

You are correct, Gingrich was one of the main leaders who widened the abyss between rich and poor in this country and cemented Republicans as the Party of the Wealthy.
