No, I don't. Neither do I believe that the use of the term massacre, which implies deliberate random slaughter, is fair or accurate.
The attack on Gaza was a desperate attempt to end the constant rain of rockets which have been fired at Israel, from Gaza, for years.
Because of the high number of people living in Gaza and the Hamas policy of placing their arms, rockets and headquarters in the middle of civilian centres of population it is a miracle that thousands of civilians and children were not killed. Numbers of civilian casualties would have been even lower if the civilians had been allowed to leave targeted areas in response to warnings given by Israel by leaflet drops prior to the actual attacks. Hamas holds the lives of Palestinians in such low esteem that they are prepared to sacrifice any number of them for a "good picture" or a headline.
Of course the attack was planned in advance, but it could have been stopped at any time by the cessation of rocket attacks on Israel.
How many times do Hamas have to be told "if you do not stop firing rockets at us, we will respond with force"?
Although this is not specifically part of my answer to your question, I find the name you have chosen for yourself to be in very questionable taste and I am afraid that I, personally, am offended by it.
EDIT: "Hatem A" I have followed your links, thank you. Your first link, to an Israeli newspaper article indicating Israel's intention to launch a pre-emptive strike to end rocket attacks from Gaza and detailing the diplomatic and public relations strategies to be used illustrates the point I have made above. Israel never made any secret of their intention to end the rocket attacks from Gaza by force. Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and the people of Gaza were warned countless times that if the rockets did not stop, Israel would stop them. The fact that this was spoken of openly in the internationally distributed Israeli press can hardly be described as "shocking".
In another link you detail the background to the creation of the Jewish State in Israel in a factual manner for a 13 year old school pupil. Although the facts you presented were accurate you have been slightly disingenuous in your explanation of how war "broke out" in 1948. The war started when the state, newly created by the United Nations, was attacked by its Arab Neighbours, who refused to accept its right to exist. You implied that the war was specifically against the local Arab population whereas the truth is that Israel was invaded, the day after its creation, by the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon and was fighting for its very existence.
