That's because Americans are pretty stupid and don't understand that the USA is not at great risk, due to its superior health system (and Obamacare!). Americans should be freaked out about people from Africa traveling to countries that don't have a good healthcare system (India, China), with THOSE citizens then coming to the USA. And no way, no how, we are going to ban travel to China and India.
