That is the way it is suppose to work but a DA can manipulate the jury pool by sending out more jury notices to a more prominent democrat or conservative depending on what kind of jury the state wants.

The other official who can "rig" a jury is the person who sends out the jury notices.

Tax issues very rarely see a jury trial because most people would be sympathetic with the accused.

There will be no trial by jury in Obamaland. It will work more like the gestapo dragging you out of your bed in the middle of the night and putting you in some concentration camp.

We the people have no voice it has been taken away by big government. We only speak on election day the rest of the time our voices fall on deaf ears.

They probably won't be in a proceeding that would require a jury. It will probably just be a judge.

"We the people" are not a branch of the government, the government is a separate entity created by the people.



Anyway, I agree that the fines a fundamentally wrong and I hope the courts overturn that provision. But it is not likely to happen.
