Why did ISIL make James Foley wear the same orange prison jumper as Guantanamo Bay detainees while they killed him?

Ironically, both James Foley and Nick Berg were both wearing orange prison jumpsuit outfits as Guantanamo Bay detainees.

Why would Muslim militants make their victims wear the same outfits that American terrorists make Muslims wear?

I think the question is really: Why do all the terrorist victims that are executed for propaganda (not the mass murders, but the ones where they video tape and make them read a statement, and then kill them) wear that orange? I was wondering the same thing, googled it, and ended up here. Nick Berg had on orange. the French spy had on the same orange. What, if any, is the symbolism of the orange? If you don't know for sure, don't answer. I'm kind of curious to know the truth, not some speculation. Thanks!

/// AH! I see you edited the question. Good! It's more clear now. Hope someone knows for sure...

At this point, doesn't matter so much what his attire was people all over the world are angry and going after the subhuman group ISIS.

The subhuman, with the British accent, needs to be found and eliminated off the face of of the earth. Jim Foley was a civilian, a journalist who was reporting the actions of this terrorist group to the world, and I guess they didn't like it.

The only thing that matters is that we recognize James Foley as an American hero who died bravely at the hand of a subhuman group whose main purpose in life is to kill everything that is good.

He wasn't. If you saw the whole picture, it was a draping overshirt that hung down almost to the ground and had orange fringe on the bottom.

Foley wasn't wearing the "same orange prison jumper as Guantanamo Bay detainees."

Here's an image of James Foley wearing an orange t-shirt.

So I'm guessing that in your estimable opinion that if it were not for GITMO, they would have hugged him instead... whether or not GITMO exists, the fact that WE exist is why terrorists hate, despise, and want nothing more than to kill us. Don't kid yourself that if we were "nicer" to them, that they would stop killing us.
