Ironically, statistically Democrats both earn more on average, and have a higher net worth on average, than do Republicans....this is largely a consequence of the higher average level of education completed by Democrats than by Republicans...



Democrats (on average) also pay more in taxes than do Democrats, and Republicans use more Federal dollars than they contribute...

If you mean Republicans in Congress, then the answer is no. Both Democrats and Republicans receive $165,200 a year for being in Congress. For everyday people, no there is no difference either. Political views don't make you money. However, Republicans, being conservative, do tend to get more for their dollar, because they don't spend as much. Democrats, being liberals, tend to throw money at a problem. For example, a republican would be willing to get in the crawlspace to change some pipes, while a Democrat would hire someone to do it.

So, the fact that the current administration has out-spent all previous administrations does not enter into this? The fact that the Democrats' cap and trade legislation will make corporations richer than pretty much ANY Republican sponsored legislation does not matter?
