As asked earlier, since SOME pro abortion supporters cite the law, Bush also is obeying his new laws. Right?

As answered earlier, the President of the United States does not have the Constitutional authority to make laws.

So no.

How many times do you have to ask the same question?

There's a difference between saying we cannot oppose Bush for breaking the law when he's not breaking the law -- versus saying that the laws Bush pushed through are unconstitutional, which the courts (hopefully) will determine when they've been able to review them.

There's also a difference between saying that Bush's prior violations of the law are not excused by his current pseudo-compliance with the law -- versus someone who has never violated the law -- or someone who has never complied with the law.

It's not as black and white as you make it out to be -- just because Bush is following some laws now, doesn't change what illegal actions he did before.

Bush made an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. By not following the Constitution, Bush is breaking his own oath. The Constitution is what makes this country great. Bush can't just make new laws. That's ludicrous.

Obeying the law should be the LEAST we expect of any politician whom we may or may not support. I need a lot more from anyone than "not breaking the law" -- much less "leaving the Constitution alone" -- before they earn my active support.

BTW, I'm not "pro-abortion." I hate abortion, which is why I believe sex-ed should include (at the appropriate age) the subject of birth control. But I'm pro-choice.

George Bush has never made a right decision! He is known worldwide for making the stupidest decisions. America will soon find relief from this guy.
