i know people on ssd bring home 1500 a month dont have to file taxes and dont have any responsibilities. I on the other hand make $18 an hr bring home $2k a month after taxes then have student loans and gas expenses from driving to work bringing me back to the same income as someone on ssd. And at the same time they dont get audited by the irs like i was and owed nothing because i didnt make anything one year the government came after me they dont have to work and put up with BS all day.

Because you have a poor understanding of SSDI.

SSDI is YOUR money that YOU paid into the system. It is available to YOU only if YOU have earned enough work credits to qualify AND if you have been declared legally disabled by both your doctor and three disability judges. Moreover, they DO pay taxes on this income...both federal and state.

If you have a good job at this point, you better be grateful instead of complaining. There are millions of people who would trade with you in a minute.
