Perhaps the people you listen too for your information aren't giving you the full, objective story. Tea Parties have their rallies and go home at the end of the day, as per the permits. For those OWS protests that do start out legal, they then squat for days or weeks until they become a nuisance and/or hazard, wearing out their welcome and intent of any permits.



It is possible that OWS in Zuccoti park might not have needed a permit since it is a private park, but they still became a hazard and nuisance all the same and had to be broken up.

Tea party rallies support the domination of the poor and middle class by the wealthy elite. The tea party worships the wealthy as a priestly class who can do no wrong. The tea party worships greed. 2) One group had specified times for rallies after which the group dispersed peacefully, the other didn't

3) One group provided for it's sanitation, the other generally didn't

4) One group respected city ordinances (things like not sleeping in parks) the other didn't

5) One group policed itself, the other allowed drug use and violence among its members



Do I need to go further? You can disagree with the Tea Party, but trying to draw an equivalency here is just laughable.
