My guess is because they have no business sense.
You need a good balance. Guess that's why most Americans are moderate.

You must live in the Midwest or somewhere where you can't pick up liberal stations. A liberal talk show called Ed Shultz is doing better than Limbaugh's show. I pity people like you who can't hear alternative news and just listen to the ranting garbage of conservative radio. Or maybe you just don't want to listen to other viewpoints, since you can on the internet, and you're just lying about liberal radio being unsuccessful, like a typical con would do. Anyway, you conservatives want to keep politics bypartisan ;in which your radio stations like to use on you to get you hating and distracted off the issues. It's not about politics but what the issues are. You can't be political and see what the truth is.

Liberals probably listen to music on the Radio and READ for news and information.
I think it is interesting to note that the successful Conservative stations also are sports radio stations, which explains the success of both the ability to stay on air as well as the programming.

No two liberal think exactly the same, hence Talk radio is a wasted effort, I read and study issues and history from those I based my opinion. Geo politics has long been a study field for me and the idea of listening to paid mouth piece espouse rhetoric is morally treasonable.
A sophistical rhetorician, inebriated with the exuberance of his own verbosity, and gifted with an egotistical imagination that can at all times command an interminable and inconsistent series of argument to malign and opponent and glorify himself. Benjamin Disraeli

it is now no longer entire shows, in spite of the shown fact that the undeniable fact that broadcast media are using air waves that they do now no longer own, yet are authorized to stick to by the administrative, to make funds (which few begrudge them) and additionally can pour hours of by no skill-ending propaganda for or against human beings, communities, concerns, and so on. The fairness doctrine tried to maintain some stability. It by using no ability worked exact, by way of fact that's predicated on the fallacy that each and each and each and each subject has merely 2 sides, or that there might desire to be merely 2 applicants for an place of artwork, that's absurd.

If liberals listen to the radio it will most likely be tuned to NPR. It's the only station I need or listen too.

I tried Listening to Randy Rhodes. it just reminded too much of why I hate Hannity and Rush. Blind idiotic faith my party right or wrong, but worse than that she also came across like fingernails on a blackboard.
I used to listen to Larry Elder but I quit listening to him when he turned into another Republican Cheerleader after he got syndicated.

Howard Stern, apparently...but they're all goofs who care about nothing but their own ratings...so, anyone who actually listens to them has to be less educated or, at the very lest, less intelligent. That would certainly explain why so many conservatives listen to those show, that's for sure.

Because only old people (conservatives) listen to the radio these days.
Hmmmmm?

Because conservatives like to be told what they want to hear, regardless of the veracity of the statements

I don't speak for all liberals but I wouldn't want to listen to a left wing alt. to talk radio. I wouldn't want to listen to some guy subtract facts and distort quotes for 3 hours even if I agreed with his underlining point.

It's simple, they had no audience. The real question is why liberals didn't listen. I assume all the liberals are listening to NPR

I don't like the conservative talk show hosts, but Randi Rhodes, who used to be on Air America, is the the most offensive person to ever be on the airwaves in my opinion.
