Will the soviet union return?

I know it sounds like a stupid question, but since Putin was in the KGB, i don't know how accurate this is but i hear that apparently he wants to re live history by re introducing communism back into Russia therefore re creating a new soviet union

re introducing communism in Russia and re creating Soviet Union are 2 different things - to recreate Soviet Union one need to reunite again all 15 now independent states into one country , while re introducing communism into Russia means just voting for communists more then 66% (constitutional majority) in elections to Russian Parlament - it is hard to imagine how Putin may want to re introduce communism in Russia if the MAIN and MOST DANGEROUS opposition to Putin's United Russia party is exactly the Communist Party of Russian Federation (communists got around 15% vote while Putin's United Russia party around 50% of votes in elections of 2011)...I think everything is confused in your head - why don't you read a bit at least wikipedia articles to understand what is the difference in betveen Russia and Soviet Union, which countries were parts of Soviet Union and what are they now, what is the diference and atitude to each other in betveen Communist Party and Putin's United Russia Party, what is economic policy of Putin (who is one of the most wild capitalists in the world and is 100% opposite to communist policy)...and then again - why do you think that KGB want communism?- as far as I know those were mainly ex-KGB officers who became oligarchs and billionaries in Russia - you think they dream about giving all their Mediteerainian villas and shares in american corporations and all their factories and buisinesses back into state property in Russia and to start to live on just a salary in 3 room flats?....and by the way - you ask about communism - I suspect you simply have no idea what is communism, same like the guy above ("Common Sense" nick) who posted in reponce to you that it is already communism in Russia because Putin behaves not nice (in his opinion) in Syria and Georgia - it is hard to find more stupid post then of this "Common Sense'' even on this site...

I thought that was what Obama was trying to do in this country. This is why. What he says is all he will accept. My way or the highway. He has not asked congress to pass a budget for four year so he spends what he wants. He passes new laws without the approval of Congress. His new right hand is the EPA, who continues to pass new laws that require the people to purchase thing they don't want like the new light bulb. He arrest and places Americans in jail when they express there 1st amendment right. The movie Maker. He killed Americans over seas without due process. Sounds like Soviet Union to me.

I do not intellect. Not from a navy point of view. Ukraine and Belarus - fraternal people. Now we have a customary past, our destinies are intertwined. Consolidation could be the proper decision. I was once also born in the USA.

Putin would absolutely love to bring it all back, gulags and all and of course the KGB. As long as he could be in charge of it all.

But he doesnt seem to mind totalitariansim which was the biggest problem with the ussr anyway

It already has. You see how they insertd themselves in Syria and Iran to block any US intervention. We would have to kill Russians to bomb Iran nuke facilities or Syrian forces. They are spreading their infuence again and we saw what happened in Georgia when they didn't play nice with Putin.
