18 years old and this will be my first time voting. Couldn't watch the whole debate last night watched for only about 20-25 minutes then went to work. (I'm Hispanic, live in California) if that matters. But my question is why should I vote for Romney? People have told me a minority has NO reason to vote Republican, and that oh "Romney doesn't care about you and blah blah blah". 2 issues that matter to me the most are JOBS and the ECONOMY those issues for my future that's ahead.

So Romney supporters why should I vote Romney?

The only acceptable reason for voting for Romney is to get rid of Obama. But Romney is bad, too. I'm voting for Ron Paul.

First of all Romney is not Obama .. Obama is a community organizer and if you want your community organized then he is your man.. Romney on the other hand is and has been a top executive in many business ventures .. Any time the big money people make money they need us the little people to do the work for them since producing widgets from a office building is impossible so there has to be a widget assembly line somewhere and that is where we the little people come in.So as a little person i lean toward the business end of leadership .

What Obama seems good for is making it a good day for today and well tomorrow may not be so good since he is using somebody else's money to make all this happen at a government level . The unions and the minorities backed him in 2008, which i understand why and now i don't see how anybody could vote for four more years of what we have had the last four years of corrupted government .. Hey he couldn't even loose the debate with honor, he was beaten in that debate and wanted to lay the blame on someone else for the loss. When is he going to take responsibility for his failures and he has very few success stories that can be backed up with real proof ..

We as Americans are laughed at around the world . Putin of Russia wouldn't even shake Obama's hand once and all he did was step back and smirk at Obama .. Not much to be proud of is there?

You should vote for Romney, because he had the experence making the big decisions, four years ago when Obama was voted in he hardly had any experence. The only good thing about Obama becoming President was the fact that he's black and that says a lot about our country coming a long way, but the fact of the matter is Obama was not ready for such a huge job and should not have been even considered by the dem. party who has basicly been using him as their puppet. A President is not supposed to be a puppet, if they are bad things happen.

Were in serious debt, more people are out of work then they were 4 years ago and this include many college grads and people like your parents. Whether your white, black, hispanic, purple, green or whatever that doesn't matter. You don't vote for someone based on the color of your skin or that they like the same baseball team as you. You vote for them because they're the right choice for the country. And right now Obama isn't the right one.

If you want to have a good job in the degree you study in college by the time you graduate, I would vote for Romeny.

Fact Check: Romney Told 27 Myths in 38 Minutes During the Debate

October 4, 2012 |

Pundits from both sides of the aisle have lauded Mitt Romney’s strong debate performance, praising his preparedness and ability to challenge President Obama’s policies and accomplishments. But Romney only accomplished this goal by repeatedly misleading viewers. He spoke for 38 minutes [2] of the 90 minute debate and told at least 27 myths:

1) “[G]et us energy independent, North American energy independent. That creates about 4 million jobs”. Romney’s plan for “energy independence” actually relies heavily on a study that assumes the U.S. continues with fuel efficiency standards set by the Obama administration. For instance, he uses Citigroup research based off the assumption that “‘the United States will continue with strict fuel economy standards that will lower its oil demand.” Since he promises to undo the Obama administration’s new fuel efficiency standards, [3] he would cut oil consumption savings of 2 million barrels per day by 2025.

2) “I don’t have a $5 trillion tax cut. I don’t have a tax cut of a scale that you’re talking about.” A Tax Policy Center analysis of Romney’s proposal for a 20 percent across-the-board tax cut in all federal income tax rates, eliminating the Alternative Minimum Tax, eliminating the estate tax and other tax reductions, would reduce federal revenue $480 billion in 2015. This amounts to $5 trillion over the decade.

3) “My view is that we ought to provide tax relief to people in the middle class. But I’m not going to reduce the share of taxes paid by high-income people.” If Romney hopes to provide tax relief to the middle class, then his $5 trillion tax cut would add to the deficit. There are not enough deductions in the tax code that primarily benefit rich people to make his math work.

4) “My — my number-one principal is, there will be no tax cut that adds to the deficit. I want to underline that: no tax cut that adds to the deficit.” As the Tax Policy Center concluded [4], Romney’s plan can’t both exempt middle class families from tax cuts and remain revenue neutral. “He’s promised all these things and he can’t do them all. In order for him to cover the cost of his tax cut without adding to the deficit, he’d have to find a way to raise taxes on middle income people or people making less than $200,000 a year,” the Center found [5].

5) “I will not under any circumstances raise taxes on middle-income families. I will lower taxes on middle-income families. Now, you cite a study. There are six other studies that looked at the study you describe and say it’s completely wrong.” The studies Romney cites actually further prove [6] that Romney would, in fact, have to raise taxes on the middle class if he were to keep his promise not to lose revenue with his tax rate reduction.

Oh, but White Republican bigots falsely accusing you and your kind as being all "illegals" or "wet backs" doesn't bother you at all? You're trying to tell us that this does not insult you one bit huh? Please, you are full of it ! And oh yeah, this is not a site or forum to ask personal rants about who the hell you should vote for. Vote for Romney till you turn green, so that he can ship you and all your people back to "Mexico", like most Repubs want. Who the hell cares !

If you are not in the 1% you have no logical reason whatsover to vote for Gov. Romney. That vote is totally against your best economic and social interests. If you check today's paper Romney has reversed position again and now declares that if elected he will abolish the current Obama amnesty plan for college-aged illegals.

You can watch the debates at any time via the net so I suggest you do that rather than listen to what others regurgitate for you (including me). Obama's "experience" is based on a "Tower of Babel" built on IMAGE and the illusion of competence which Romney smashed at the debates with SUBSTANCE. Given the two examples you provide as issues you care most about, economy and jobs, I submit that who is more qualified to improve the opportunity for both: a community organizer with no business experience who campaigns vilifying those job creators or a businessman with actual proven success in the world of business who is one? if that is not enough: go by a tank of gas, food, goods, or services. I vote based on the REALITY OF WHAT I PAY. I vote Romney.

Obama has the voters of people who are crutching on the government. Democrats want the federal government to take care of everyone, thats why they always raise taxes, thats why they always pass stupid regulations to control you. Republican party was founded on anti-slavery activists during Lincolns presidency. Republicans want limited government. Notice Obama did not once mention the declaration of independance or state rights last night? Its because he wants the government to run the whole country like they do in the countries in the middle east. F- Obama

thumbs down all you want, but how is that change working out for you? Dont fall for that jungle bunnies trickery :) Romney a successful person is more apt to run a successful nation, just sayin :)

Is very crazy that people who are saying "Wow Romney did good job on debate I'm now voting for him". This kind of tone is NOT a good reason to vote for Romney & keep in mind that Romney he use to be bully that's why he's so good on attacking. There are still 2 more debates left.

If you are poor or middle class, Obama is for you & will continue to support you. If you are upper or rich class, Romney is for you. Both Obama & Romney they lie & that's why is called politics. You can't take both of them seriously. Both Obama & Romney did horrible job in office. Romney believes that just because I'm a middle class, it doesn't mean that I'm in food stamps! He doesn't understand of how is to be a middle class because he had "everything" & was born rich.

In here, your NOT going to get a good answer my friend. I would say start digging research & look up both Obama & Romney background.

Don't forget that it was Obama who withdraw our US troops out of Iraq & will do it again in Afghanistan if he is relelected again. And also who killed osama bin laden don't forgot abou that.

Why would ANYONE vote for Obama...

“And the proof of that is 23 million people out of work. The proof of that is 1 out of 6 people in poverty. The proof of that is we've gone from 32 million on food stamps to 47 million on food stamps. The proof of that is that 50% of college graduates this year can't find work.”

-Mitt Romney

Obama is 1 and done based on the REALITY that we live with now thanks to Obama.

If you care about jobs and the economy, your best bet is to vote for the Businessman who knows the Private Sector, i.e. the Job Creating Market, or you can vote for the Big Government, Big Spending Liberal who is killing the Job Creating Market and spending Trillions of dollars that the country does not have.

I too am Hispanic! Have you been to Mexico lately? I mean, Mexico is a 3rd world country! Now, if you vote for Obama, the U.S. will end up either like Greece, Spain, or Mexico!

EDIT: And for all you that will give me a "Thumbs Down!" Let's do math! Our National Debt is now well over -$16,000,000,000,000! That is 16 TRILLION!!!! You do NOT get out of debt by increasing the debt! That is Obama's logic with all of those bail outs within the first 100 days that he took office!

I don't think there's any reason to do it.

The republicans invariably support "flat earth" economic policies, moving jobs overseas as fast as possible so that companies can drastically lower their payroll costs while charging as much as ever for their products in the American marktet.

This has been their premiere economic strategy for decades. It works quite well at making lots of money for the major corporations that comprise their only real constitutency,

Although over time of course as the American public gets poorer and poorer it does get harder to extort more money from them in this way.

There is no reason to vote for Romney, as he is a puppet for the Republican/Big Business and they want lower wages for you. To get the lower wages they are willing to be traitors to America. They closed factories here, build factories in COMMUNIST countries, to put more Americans out of work. Supply and Demand, manipulated by Big Business. The more people are out of work, the less they will work for, because of the competition for each job.

They were willing to drive this economy to a DEPRESSION, to accomplish this.

Watch "Inside Job" to see how they manipulated the Government to give them a bailout.

We were losing 750,000 jobs a month under last Republican president, all toll around 8 to 9 million jobs shipped overseas.

Obama and the Democrats have turned it around, now we have job growth, and a stable economy.

All Obama wants is your vote. He doesn't care about anything else. 42 months of 8% unemployment shows he has no clue.

Romney wants to decrease unemployment. Your group has the highest unemployment.

Vote Romney. The best way to help you is to help you work.

That is what Mitt proposes to utilize, it didn't do well the first several times.

Well, if you want to be defined by your race, then vote Democrat.

If you want to be defined by your achievements and what you have to offer, then vote Republican. This is coming from a Latino who used to vote Democrat until I realized that the Democrats are just using us, and don't have our best interests in mind. Republicans want us to succeed WITHOUT the Big Hand of Government getting in the way.

Obama inherited the biggest mess anyone had ever inherited, from 8 years of Bush. And now Romney and the Republicans want it back.... to make it even a bigger mess?

Nope. I'll give Mr. Obama 4 more years. When Clinton left office there was a financial surpless. When Bush left, we were in debut trillions and in two wars.

Nope. Obama isn't perfect, but he;s a ton better than going back to failed foreign , and economic policies of the Republicans.

Romney brings real growth to the economy by allowing businesses to succeed on their own. This means not allow for regulations that straggle growth.
