They are anti-fascist, and to them everything they don't like is "fascist". They believe that having to work for a living is fascist, they believe that a country securing it's borders is fascist, they believe Constitutional limits on government is fascist.

You might ask, why aren't Democrats more outspoken about criticizing this sort of thing? Very likely explanation - Antifa is extremely small, and incidents are very rare.



This is like flag-burning - .something all patriotic Americans condemned in the 1960s, although it almost never happened, except when people demonstrated in other countries, Draft cards got burned, flags didn't. I was there. There were anti-war demonstrations with tens of thousands - banners, some flags - Communist or American - but not one flag burning.



Non-flagging-burning was the pretext for an Amendment that would have compromised the First.
