News flash - the democrats went by means of a an identical difficulty when George W Bush gained in 2000. Republicans went through this when Barry Goldwater lost to LBJ, then Nixon was elected 4 years later. Politics is just like the weather, wait quarter-hour and it'll alternate. Anything might occur on the earth or Obama might make some serious gaff (Monica Lewinsky) that turns everybody off to the democrats.

I don't know but if the democrats get a total majority in 2014, you will understand what the republicans were fighting for. Our country will be lost to us. 48% still supported the Republicans. Had they appealed to more conservatives, Romney would have won.
Democrats are trying to completely destroy Republicans mostly based on lies. Its very difficult to watch. Look at the fiscal cliff. Obama has no intention of budging an inch and we will go over the cliff while he says the American people spoke that they are looking for compromise by electing both parties. He is a politica war machine. His tax hike on the 2% won't fix anything and he refuses to cut spending. Why are people backing such a lame position? I see no common sense reason to support his plan. None at all.

Easily after the destruction of another 4 years of O'Bama! Democrats will be lucky if their party survives!
With the impending implementation of BFD O'Bamacare Democrats are freaking out because they are now seeing how destructive that is going to be! The $64 a year fee EVERYONE will have to pay as well as taxes on medical equipment, such as feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and bandaids has many Democrats scrambling trying to stop the increases!
It looks like that whole "pass it to see what is in it" isn't working so well!

Oh, no. We are going to a one-party state as Germany had before World War II. It seems that Democrats cannot tolerate any freedom of speech or dissent. Democrats are so super intelligent that they have all the answers to human problems worldwide. However, as the Russians found out, you have to murder at least 100.000.000 million adults to make one-party rule more efficient. Another problem that the Democrats have is that everybody laughs at them and wants to be with nice people, and not around a bunch of uncouth Democrats.

It's hard to predict the future.
According to the fabled Democratic politician Tip O'Neill (I think it was Tip O'Neill who said this), "A week is a very long time in American politics."
Therefore, it's TOO SOON TO TELL.
As a leftist myself, I can't think of a single reason for voting Republican -- not today. But since a week is a long time in politics, I think it's possible the GOP will recover from its current troubles.
Maybe I'll even vote for them in the future. But maybe not. It all depends.

We were kicking @s$ from 1981 to 1993, and we won the 1984 election with 49 out of 50 states, just because you won two elections doesn't mean it's over for the GOP, they were saying the same thing after the 2004 election

If some Christian children just happened to be gunned in a church or Christian vacation retreat and the Republicans are able to grandstand over dead children like the liberals are shamelessly doing with the Sandy Hook murders, then perhaps their party will have a chance at the White House and Congress.

The fact is, the country is being overwhelmed with morons, hence why we are where we are. It's going to end up in another civil war eventually...maybe not in my lifetime or my kids' or grandkids' lifetimes, but that's where it is going. I can only hope it happens in my lifetime so that my children don't have to suffer for it.

Do liberals ever concern themselves with history? Try it sometime. And why are you concerned about the next election because we probably won't exist by then!

Down here in Texas, I knew that Romney was in for a rough ride when he failed to rally the Mexican-American vote. They just plainly did not like him.
I don't think a Party can still put up a fabulously wealthy man (with a permanent sneer) and appeal to ordinary hardworking Texans. We had had enough of that with G.W. Bush.
The candidate of the future will have to be someone whose policies are inclusive of all ethnic backgrounds, and who doesn't support only the wealthiest one percent over the ordinary man.
And promising to kill Big Bird didn't help either.

This is what naturally happens in democracies. They fall apart over fiscal matters because everyone gets to vote, and what everyone votes for is usually each other's money. People who vote for short-term personal gain always outnumber those who vote for moral principles and long-term smart solutions.

The Democrats strategy of stacking the electorate with 3rd world illegals is working like a charm...

If they nominate Chris Christie. He appeals to a broad range of people, has the necessary experience and qualifications, and is a good person.
I doubt the teabaggers will nominate him though.

Yeah it's almost not like 58 million people voted for Romney

they will win as soon as liberals run out of other people's money to spend

It is highly unlikely they will win the White House in the next 20 years.

Simple we bribe your stupid *** just like Obama did, And we take the prize home.
See how easy that is.

They will continue to gerrymander and get more power at the state level.

Redistricting , gerrymandering , and voter intimidation laws .
