Question:
Why is it that republicans rather play political games then do their jobs?

Ever since Obama has been in office all the big republicans rather spend all their time trying to find things wrong with the president and dem party. They are not even doing there jobs thay were put in office to do.
I think it is sad that republicans rather than help the country get on track they (at the country's expense) want to make Obama fail. That hurts everybody. It is said that this country cant just come together and fight to win.
Pathetic to try to give "the worst president ever " title to a man that has not even been in office 1 year. I do think it is unanimous that bush won that one fair and square . It is just sick to be so close minded and to live the " If I cant win then nobody will"

What is the deal?

Republican party is washed up. They need a major overhaul and don't even know it. Republicans don't have a viable candidate for the 2012 elections. All that is left for them to do is bash the opposition. It is a desperation tactic.

Still trying to find your scapegoats huh, in a Democrat majority congress, who cares what the Republicans are doing. If they thought that Obama's spending and spending and spending was going to help America along with his tax hikes on the rich and Cap and Tax, then they wouldn't be Republicans, would they. You need a two party system in control, I don't want 50 people in control that ALL have the same ideas. They might agree with me here but not there. This country was built on checks and balances, if the three branches on worked together in a common goal then that is out the window. I am a die hard conservative Republican but even I don't want ALL Republicans in office, I don't trust them any more than I trust any politician. I like difference of opinions running this country and I am not so damn smug as you are to think that my way is the only way and ALL should just follow. Your an arrogant, smug, selfish, typical democrat.

they do no longer would desire to teach something they only communicate out of the two sides of their mouths and their sheep consume it up.....i hit upon it hilarious that one poster claimed that republicans don't have "a project with unemployment advantages, they only choose them paid for." Why do no longer they innovations the tax cuts for the wealthy that variety into positioned into play over the previous administration? It too has no longer been paid for yet added to the deficit and now they decide to proceed them?! It particular as hell has no longer helped with job creation like they claimed it may so what precisely is the element?

Playing dirty political games is doing their jobs.

They don't get elected because of a solid platform or a plan to improve things. They always use the same old strategy of anti anything Democratic, fear and religion.

It's mind-boggling that people are still buying into it.

Obama said he would be bipartisan.

Of, consisting of, or supported by members of two parties, especially two major political parties: a bipartisan resolution.

That means that some compromise has to be reached. Not that one party will tell the other "This is where you sign."

Nothing Obama has done has been bipartisan. He even told Republicans "I won."

So when you think Republicans should just roll over when the ruling party tries to Socialize America, you are very naive.

the democrats do the same thing. when have we ever seen the democratic side open to the idea that they might be wrong? the republicans dont have to agree with obama. they are supposed to do what the people of their state want them to do. thats their job, and if they cant do that then they dont need to be in office.

How do you call, representing their constituents, doing nothing ?

They have put forth proposals on every things thats going on.

Including health care.

They cannot force the democrats to allow their proposals to be voted on.

their jon is NOT to support the democrats bills, but to offer alternatives of their own,

Which they have done in every case.

They were not elected to help Obama pass his aganda.

Their job isn't to rubber stamp Obama's spending spree.

Republicans are obstructionist by nature. Think about the last time you heard of a republican coming up with a good idea or a new policy to help the country. Truth is that they don't do those things. Republicans have reduced themselves to pining for the 50s

The president and congressional democrats are the ones who have "frozen out" any republican input or participation.
