Do people really not know about the Green New Deal FAQ that was published on AOC's website? The resolution wasn't the problem, the FAQ was?

Just saying that some people keep pointing out that the 14 page resolution submitted to congress doesn't mention any of which the FAQ did, as if it matters... so either they are ignorant of what the FAQ said or they are trying to ignore it ever happened.


Although the resolution does not include that language, it was part of a fact sheet Ocasio-Cortez provided to media outlets and at one time was available on a blog post on the representative’s website

"We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast, but we think we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retrofit every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees and restore our ecosystem to get to net-zero." From the FAQ that was on her site and was distributed to the media outlets.

Her green new deal is a joke, no matter which way you look at it. Let's talk about JUST the retrofitting.



JUST the retrofitting would take ALL of our construction ability, so no new building, abandon buildings that cost too much to both maintain and retrofit.



All that equals a LARGE increase in homelessness.



You literally cannot put enough lipstick on that pig of a bill.



The truth is that the bill was nothing but the dreams and wishes of a bartender who smoked too much weed when writing a 5 page plan.
