This is a most exciting time. Eventually maybe some of the people here will actually read up on what's going on, and realize that the wikileaks organization has exposed the corruption and fraud carried out by the american government, and we need to make sure that they stay safe and able to continue the work they started.

It's unfortunate that people are getting some of the information wrong and think that this is some profit motivated attack against america, it's not. Wikileaks has been uncovering this kind of fraud for a few years now, and it's only this recent group of releases that cover issues pertaining to america.

The wikileaks faq/about page is a good place to get the background information about them, as is the wikipedia page. Then try the bbc or the guardian. It's a little more balanced than some of the other press.
