While it varies by state, you generally have to submit an official request to your county auditor for an absentee ballot.  Some states will mail out a blank request form to all registered voters.



Deadline for requests are coming up soon for in-person & by mail (online requests have already passed for some states).  If you haven't sent a request for an absentee ballot, you'll need to do so RIGHT NOW!  If you have requested one, check the status of it's request.



If you haven't received your absentee ballot, you might be able to do "early voting" at your county courthouse's auditor's office, which can potentially streamline the voting process...  HOWEVER, this option does vary by state (& potentially county).





As for how you should vote, it's mostly personal preference.  I'm doing absentee since it's too inconvenient for me to get to my polling place to vote & work within the typical 2-hour time frame most companies allow for this.

If you can do what I am going to do.  At first a couple months ago, I thought for sure I would be doing by mail.  But then I started realizing that Trump was gearing up to interfere with mail voting as much as he could and suppress lots of votes that way.

Please do not wait until election day to go vote. I have never understood people that do that when they might have a whole 2 or 3 weeks before that to do early voting in person. In previous elections when I go early vote, there are never any lines, and there are 2 or maybe 3 others in there trying to vote with many empty machines around.  Then I see election day and long lines of people running around blocks for people to vote. Put work on finding a vaccine as a priority.



Fought for sending stimulus checks to American taxpayers.  (Something Democrats hindered)



Nominated (3 times) for Nobel Peace Prize for his negotiations for peace around the world, especially in the Middle East.



Prison reform.  (By the way, Biden sponsored the 1994 crime law that put such a disproportionate amount of minorities in jail.)
