We all hear and complaint about what happened to sense & senseility let alone things like morality, loyality, and good fashion up bringing yet once again a Democratic politician can't keep his pants on especially when his wife is ill with a serious thing like cancer. Cheating is bad but it's even worse when your sponse is ill or handicapped. Republicans have their own faults obviously noone is perfect but how many times have we read about a democratic politican cheating. Early this year everyone was blinded by Edwards claim of being outside the washington political style yet he's just as full of it as the others no matter which party making it worse his supposed lapse in judgement came during his wife's illness of all things. Seriously what happened to morals & values no matter which party? Which is worse someone corrupt or someone who cheats especially while their sponse is seriously ill?

Hehe, you had to expect this response when you wrote this question, right? Truth is, politicians of all shapes, sizes, and party cheat. It's what they do. I think it has something to do with power. You would be doing your self a great service by acknowledging that fact. Our politicians may not be able to come together on too many bipartisan bills but they sure do share alot of the same characteristics.

It takes two to tango. Why is no one blaming Ms. Hunter? There could have been some predatory behavior going on here on her part. She tried until she got him hook, line and sinker at the most vulnerable time with Elizabeth's illness. She knew he was married and had a family and was an up and coming presidential candidate. She may have even black mailed the senator. It was a poor move on his part, bad judgement to get involved with Rielle. If she had been a good person, she would have been a real friend, not a bunk buddy.

How can any Republican comment on Democrats committing adultery when they ignore and refuse to talk about the scandals that occur within their own party. Presidential candidate John McCain left his sick wife for a younger wealthier woman. Why don't Republicans ever mention that? If you are going to comment on infidelity in politics make sure to make a bi-partisan post that doesn't specifically point out one political party.

David Vitter, Mark Foley, Larry Craig, Rudy Guiliani, John McCain....just to name a few, were Republicans who were involved in a shady sex scandal. Why don't you mention that, hmmm?

that is real that plenty a people cheat on their different halves/husbands, yet politicians are in positions of skill , and ought to be easily blackmailed. that is not a remember of "merely consenting adults" it could have implications of nationwide secure practices, whilst it concerns a renowned baby-kisser JFK became having an affair with a woman that became additionally a female chum of a Mafia boss, They have been consenting adults, yet ought to it have had some undesirable repercussions? i think of so.. luckily he became instructed that he had to diminish it off, the two by skill of the CIA or his brother the A G

The 2008 GOP Presidential candidate is married to a woman who is one of several women with whom he cheated on his first wife while she was recovering from devastating physical injuries following a car accident.

Are you gonna worry about this and then vote for McCain who cheated on his own disabled wife? Give it a rest. Who cares what people do in their private lives? It's none of your business.

We hear about Republican cheaters equally as often. John McCain, Newt Gingrich....both left their wives when they were at terrible times in their personal lives.
