Was Guilliani's father really in the mob and an enforcer in the Mafia?

Guilliani's uncle was absolutely in the mob he ran a loan sharking and gambling business. He was killed by the FBI when they were executing a warrant. His father probably was also involved. But, who cares.... We are not our fathers or our family.
As a prosecutor, Guilliani prosecuted the "Commission" case, where the heads of New York's five Mafia families were indicted. I'm sure you have heard about this because it has been in the news lately regarding these men's voting on whether or not to have Guilliani killed. Guilliani also successfully prosecuted the "Pizza Connection" case - a mob-bankrolled plan to import $1.6 billion in heroin through pizzerias.
I doubt I will vote for him... but that decision won't be based on what someone else did.

No, Rudy Guilliani's father was not in the mob and was not an enforcer for the mafia. All Italians are not mafia mobstres and most are not, nor have ever been associated with the mafia.

Let the mud-slinging begin! No, he wasn't an "enforcer" but he was accused of some petty crime. What he did has nothing to do with his son.

Even though I cannot tolerate Giuliani, I think this reference is very unfair.

Let's assume he was. Does it tell anything about Rudy? If he is not a mob person, anything else is not interesting
