and void regarding the Affordable Health Care Act. - I quoted the 10th Amendment which says that the Federal Government should not have the right to Mandate over States and this is the answer I got

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States"
-- US Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 1

US v Butler established that Congressional power to tax is broad and not subject to the limitations imposed by the other enumerated powers of the Congress. NFIB v Sebelius established that the "individual mandate" of the Affordable Care Act is a tax.

Your alleged contravention of the Tenth Amendment does not exist in reality.

Sounds like the Government is closing in to me. In actuality I am very familiar with that and know that in 2016 that penalty will be: In 2016, the first year the penalty is fully in place, those who don’t carry insurance will be assessed a $695 fine, per year, or 2.5 percent of their income, whichever is higher.

So you think that's okay huh? And I know you are all blaming the Conservatives. lol

How about that executive order on the HIV Virus in December. That will set a Dangerous precedent

the 10th amendment was not repealed and Obamacare did not change what needed to be changed the most-

tort reform going to a looser pays system and regulatory reform to simplify the aproval process. A bit of information that makes me question the need for the FDA is I have heard insurance companies do their own test on medicine and don't care if it as the FDA stamp they have higher standards since they want the best bang for their buck.

Congress has a right to impose taxes. What else are you saying the federal government cannot do? The federal government (HHS) set up insurance exchanges in those states who refused to do it themselves, so according to law, that is why the federal government did it. States must comply with federal laws but states have jurisdiction over health insurance practices.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." But if the states do not use their powers, it reverts to the federal government.

$695, that's like 50 a month for health insurance. The people that benefit the most from Obamacare are kids and baby boomers. The more that sign up for Obamacare the cheaper healthcare is for baby boomers.

Obamacare is against our Constitution as it was intended. I don't care what you call it. It will take away our freedoms and make us more subservient to the government. If We The People want to remain in charge of our lives we will demand this law be crushed.
