Question:
Why did these Democrats treat Will Ayers so nicely? Don't they know what he did back in the sixties?

'The former member of the Weather Underground beamed at the attention paid by the audience of about 60 people, many of whom were decked out in Obama gear.

The crowd gave Ayers a warm welcome, guffawed at jokes about "redistributing the wealth" and nodded at his complaints about the "Republican revolution."

After the talk was over, event organizers attempted to sneak Ayers out a back door to avoid the media. '

Don't forget that

Funny how the Democrats had nothing to do with that event.

Look there are a huge numbers of reasons to dislike Democrats...this is not one of them...pick one of the real world ones that exists.

This is like saying McCain is a traitor because of Keating, Republicans all encourage treason and breaking law because of Scooter Libby, etc....it's all glitzy news with little basis in reality.

I could come out and accuse McCain of putting troops at risk by being in combat even though he should have lost his wings previously....how when a fire broke out on ship that killed people he ran off into the pilots rec room instead of help.......but I don't

Let's all stop trying to find all the dirtiest tidbits and for once act like human beings with a mentality over 4 years old

As long as cons embrace the likes of Henry Kissinger, Gordon Liddy and Oliver North, you have no creditability critiquing anyone on character associations.

PS

"Manhattan panel discussion audience" is not the Democratic party.

Because Democrats have class and don't hold things against the non convicted whereas Republicans give CONVICTED felons a radio show. G.Gordon Liddy McCain's pal is a fine example.

what's the benefit of finding someone to hate for what they did 35 years ago. How would that be productive? Isn't it better to focus on today's issues and tomorrow's solutions?

I am sick of hearing about Bill Ayers!!! whats the point, are you calling Obama a terrorist? Only the stupidest person in the entire universe would fall for such logic, you madame should shut your cake-hole.

Why don't you arrest him already? Do you want him influencing your kids? I wonder how many cons took a class from him, IOW put him on their myspace friend list, only to find out later he was a 'terrorist'. If those cons thought about a future in politics, ALL of them need to stick their head between their legs and kiss their @sses good bye.

Probably for the same reasons Republicans like the Annenbergs did. They chose him for their charity board in Chicago.
