Question:
Can Ron Paul really blame the media and "gotcha" questions for making him look eccentric and out of touch?

These are HIS quotes:

“There is no such thing as a hate crime.” (Really!!?)

“Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, like support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action.” (sidebar: who made HIM the definer of “sensible political opinions”!! Isn’t THAT just his opinion!!?)

“I wouldn’t vote against getting rid of the Jim Crow laws.” -When asked if he would have voted for the Civil Rights Act. (WOW!! That’ll really get you the black vote, Ronnie!)

“What else do we need to know about the political establishment than that it refuses to discuss the crimes that terrify Americans on grounds that doing so is racist? Why isn’t that true of complex embezzling, which is 100 percent white and Asian?” (Racist and wrong as a man who was East Indian was sent to jail for insider trading.)

"If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be." (just STUPID!)

And some of the right actually wants THIS guy at the helm of the country? Isn't electing “Captain’ Ron like electing Joseph Hazelwood, captain of the Exxon Valdez? Captain Joe was lost and out of touch too!

No, his ill-fitting suits do that.

So you support the war for profit crowd on the basis of his comments about a fleet footed robber ? You should expand your horizons a bit . Are we a bigot because we choose to move out to the country away from the crime and chaos ?

Of course your taking this out of context and some of these statements were never even made.

But I'm guessing that it must be difficult for you to comprehend an explanation on anything beyond a sentence. That would involve a discussion.

I'm pleased to read something like this as it only illustrates the value or our education system.

Consider reading a book or two rather than glancing at a forum and hitting Ctrl-C on your keyboard.

This is my favorite Ron Paul quote;

"Getting rid of the minimum wage would help the poor"

I see Ron Paul on TV all the time, the Paultards need to stop whining.

It's hard to take your questions seriously since they are taken out of context.
