Too much money to lose by the likes of the GOP and Murdoch, maybe? Tea Partiers need to wise up.
They are being played.

Because it is not in their talking points. They only protest things their corporate handlers tell them to.

The Tea Party is operating under the misconception that a deregulated market is a healthy one, and that publicly funded programs are unhealthy.

The truth is that the nation benefits greatly from social programs... your police, fire department, animal control, public school, US mail, libraries, parks, the list goes on and on. Can you imagine how much moolah you would have to fork out if these programs were private? Should people who have a lower income be rendered unfit for these programs?

If the healthcare industry is any indication of how public service behaves when they have a profit motive: then you know that it is truly a blessing that the above mentioned social programs are administered not-for-profit. They may not run at 100% efficiency: and we should watch for that. But a profit-motivated business oft makes decisions which are not in the best interest of the community... only the interest of the owner. Think auto industry.

Teapartiers should be more concerned with taxation to pay the bailout: in which they will have no return for their investment. But something like the healthcare bill has a real return: affordable healthcare regardless of your social status... which will in turn lower costs in the private sector and result in fewer hospital rideoffs of inflated unpaid healthcare bills. When people don't have to hoard money for fear of their need for medicine: the market will enjoy the return of the savings.

The real reason they aren't marching on Wall Street is because many of them work for, or hope to be a part of that upper 10% one day. They'd be biting the hand that feeds them or ruining their holy grail. Some of these individuals do not really understand the complexity of the issue and the logical approach to lowering our tax liability.

Exactamundo! The GOP is against any kind of regulation of the bankers, they're hoping that they'll get more money from the huge bank lobby for the next election. True money whores that they are, they'll be against hot dogs and apple pie if they think it'll get them a fat donation from corporate.

The teabaggers aren't marching on Wall Street because the GOP masters haven't told them to. The GOP infiltrated the tea party "movement" long ago, that's why the loons at False News were promoting them so much. The only "movement" that the teabaggers care about is the "movement" that appears from between Newt Gingrich's butt cheeks. More than 80% of teabaggers are middle aged white MEN. In any given picture of a rally by Tea Partiers, you can count the number of members of minorities on one hand. You rarely see a black person or Latino. Go figure.

The Tea Baggers aren't standing up for any consistent "principle;" a great many of them are simply protesting the colour of the President's skin. And YES, I did play the race card - because whether the conservatives like it or not, the undertones are there. People dressing up like fat Minutemen to look "patriotic" is just simply embarrassing.

Yes, they ARE being played - and there's nothing more pathetic than a bunch of grown men and women that don't have the brains to realize it. The GOP plans to try the same thing with banking reform that they tried with HC reform - block it. They are going to protect the same scam artists that did so much to put the US of A and the rest of the world into the deep, deep hole that it's in. Their greed and arrogance has lost many trillions of dollars of wealth, millions of people unemployed, and God knows how many families homeless.

And the GOP wants to protect those SOBs when they should be filling up the prisons with the b*****ds.

to offer you the magnificent solutions in short form we've been right here complaigning approximately government spending for the period of bush and clinton, now we get national interest and all human beings asks the place have you ever been we've been right here you (the media) weren't listening. if the government had not replaced maximum of regulations on the banks and wall street to bypass company money into their social plans the vast subprime lending credit fiasco does not have happend. and definite we are the comparable those that attempted to surrender the government bailouts and the tarp software till now it began. as far because of the fact the bonuses to the wall street bankers bypass on an identical time as they're to huge. if an worker does the pastime that his settlement states gets him an advantage he ought to be paid the bonus. so the bonuses owed must be paid then the contracts for hire can with any luck be renegotiated. this may well be stopped devoid of government stress.

The Tea Party movement is about excessive government spending and the high taxes that will be needed to pay back the debt.

The health care plan included 2.5 trillion in new government spending

The Wall Street Bailout triggered the original massive Tea Party protests.

Why would Tea Party members protest an attempt to regulate wall street?

The GOP didn't start the Tea Party. Also, they're marching against big government waste and spending. Do me a favor, try reading a little history of the Tea Party before you come on here and make yourself look bad.

Can someone please pass Yoda a new brain ?

The Tea Party didn't start on Rush Limbaughs say so, you moron liberals just can't live with the fact that there are more "real" American's still left and they don't want to have a non-representive government taking thier money and wasting it at will while the rest of us have to pay off the huge debts of this nation........debts we didn't approve to.

This grass-roots movement started in many places at once and is aimed at making government stand up and listen to the nations citizens rather than live in the lap of luxury off of our tax dollar.

As for marching against Wall Street, it is the democrats and the libearl press that is demonizing them, not the capitalist system that America runs on. The Healthcare plan is a turkey and was forced down our throats by the government.

Government is the problem and it needs a swift kick in the pants. For liberals and leftist too stupid tounderstand that simple fact, its not worth trying to tell you since your not smart enough to understand. We aren't socialist in America and you won't force us to be socialist. Patriots will rise up and put you down before that happens

anti-FOX (Murdoch), and anti-Tea Party(you are a pundit of the Liberals.)

obama Healthcare will destroy America. You need to wise up, you are being played.
