Question:
I am in an argument about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict... Help me out?

So basically, their argument is that we can’t give Palestine a state because they will just go ahead and attack Israel. He thinks that ALL PALESTINIANS want ALL ISRAELIS DEAD. Is true? Do most Palestinian’s want all the Jews dead and what percentage of the population wants them dead? Is Hammas still in power? What was the cause of the recent conflict at the Gaza border. His argument is also that if Palestine’s can’t control the extremists why should they get there own state?

Hello (I would put your user name here but it does not currently show),

(My view would be considered pro-Israeli.)

Query:

We can’t give Palestine a state because they will just go ahead and attack Israel.

My response:

That certainly reflects the current position since the Palestinians consider themselves at war with Israel, the Palestinian education system teaches hatred of Jews, a false victim-mentality where like Nazi Germany the Jew / Israel is the fake cause of all Palestinian alleged issues, and that Israel does not exist (meaning the Palestinian false-claim to ALL the land of Israel):

https://www.quora.com/What-are-some-examples-of-anti-Israel-or-anti-peace-attitude-in-the-Palestinian-educational-system

The Palestinians are taught that the Jew / Israel, is the fake cause of all Palestinian alleged issues:

The Palestinians have a problem of child sexual abuse, while deceiving the world it is all Israeli's fault for causing Palestinians “stress” by Israel deploying an economic-blockade – a blockade due to Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel.

See:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11720381

A solution would be for the Palestinians to sincerely-negotiate and keep to, a peace treaty with Israel, providing for a two-state solution. However, the Palestinians cannot do this. Why? Because the Palestinians deceive the world into believing they seek a two-state solution, whereas in reality they falsely-claim ALL the land of Israel (to none of which do they have any verifiable-claim), and seek to expel or murder the Jews. This is clearly shown by what is taught by the Palestinian education system (source above) and by the “Palestinian National Charter”.

Queries:

He thinks that ALL PALESTINIANS want ALL ISRAELIS DEAD. Is true?

Do most Palestinian’s want all the Jews dead and what percentage of the population wants them dead?

My response:

Most definitely that is true for the majority of Palestinians, but I know of no actual survey.

How then do I assert this as fact?

The Palestinians are addicted to ethnic-hatred of Jews and are paid a “pension” to target Israeli Jewish civilians:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3510827/Revealed-UK-aid-funds-TERRORISTS-budget-cuts-12bn-taxes-splurged-foreign-hand-outs-militants-killers-Palestinian-palaces-jobs-don-t-exist.html

“In the Amended Palestinian Prisoners Law 19 of 2013, the payments were actually enhanced for a terrorist who commits a violent act and is jailed.”

http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1045

- - - - End of quote - - - -

Example result from the Palestinian anti-Jewish war of ethnic-hatred:

Israeli girl, Hallel Yaffa Ariel, aged 13, fatally stabbed in her bedroom in West Bank by a Palestinian terrorist, June 30, 2016, The Guardian:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jun/30/israeli-girl-13-stabbed-bedroom-west-bank-kiryat-arba

However, it is however unlikely Palestinians would admit to such a desire to kill Israeli Jews, bearing in mind that their information campaign is one of misinformation (propaganda). The reason for their hatred is because Palestinians are taught by their education system to hate Jews / Israel.

Yet there are Palestinians who live and work in Israel, some of whom have taken out citizenship; so clearly not all seek to carry out murder.

The following extract is from a record of what Palestinian President Abbas told President Trump; but what he said was not true:

The White House - Office of the Press Secretary

‘... Mr. President, I affirm to you that we are raising our youth, our children, our grandchildren on a culture of peace. ...’

The following shows President Trump considered that what President Abbas told him was untrue:

‘US President Donald Trump reportedly yelled at Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during their meeting in Bethlehem last week [May 23, 2017], accusing him of deception over the Palestinian Authority's involvement in anti-Israeli incitement, Israeli media reported.

An angry Trump reportedly shouted at Abbas during a closed-door meeting last Tuesday [May 23, 2017] over "direct involvement" in incitement against Israel, Israeli Channel 2 reported citing a US official who was present in the meeting.

"You tricked me in DC! [In Washington on May 3, 2017.] You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement [against Israel]," Trump is said to have shouted at Abbas, according to the TV report.

The outburst was followed by a few minutes of silence from the Palestinians, the report added. The meeting was allegedly very tense.’

Query:

Is Hammas still in power?

My response:

Yes. It controls the Gaza Strip.

Query:

What was the cause of the recent conflict at the Gaza border.

My response:

The reasons for Palestinians protesting at the Gaza border have changed:

i. Palestinian “Land Day”, in which the Palestinians falsely-accuse Israel of taking their land.

ii. Palestinian “Nakba Day” (meaning Catastrophe Day), (covers the similar alleged issues to that of “Land Day”), in which the Palestinians falsely-accuse Israel of expelling them.

iii. Protest against the decision by the United States to move the U.S. embassy to Israel’s capital Jerusalem.

Real reason for the “protests”:

To seek to allow Hamas terrorists to break through the Gaza border fence, to carry out terrorism in Israel.

Here is an example of what Palestinians would do if they got through the Gaza security fence into Israel:

July, 21.2017: A Palestinian wielding a knife stabbed and killed three Israelis in Halamish, a settlement located north of Ramallah. Hamas praised the attack. “We bless the heroic Halamish operation ...”:

https://edition.cnn.com/2017/07/21/middleeast/old-city-prayer-restrictions-imposed/index.html

Israel was Re-established in 1948 following a United Nations Partition Plan which had sought to set up two states, one Jewish and one Arab.

The then Palestinian Jewish Community had accepted the U.N. Partition Plan, while the Palestinian-Arab response was in 1947 to start a civil and terror to oppose the U.N. Partition Plan and instead take ALL the land of Israel, and also to ethnically-cleanse or murder the Jewish population from the Jews ancestral homeland of Israel:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1947%E2%80%9348_Civil_War_in_Mandatory_Palestine

In 1948 the Arab countries attacked the newly Re-established State of Israel, but the Arabs lost the war. Jordan then occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem from which the Jordanians expelled the Jews. Egypt occupied the Gaza strip. Neither country offered these areas to the Palestinians.

(Please see the sources which I have put into the “Sources” area of this answer.)

Palestinian propaganda falsely alleges the re-establishment of Israel caused: a “great injustice” / “nakba” (“catastrophe” / “disaster”) to the Palestinians.

In reality:

> The Palestinians violently rejected the Arab state of the United Nations Partition Plan;

> Jordan and Egypt occupied the land proposed for an Arab state under the U.N. Partition Plan (approximating to the West Bank and Gaza);

> BOTH Arabs and Jews, became war-refugees;

> The Palestinians claim falsely with no evidence of any such policy that they were expelled from the land; Jews were indeed expelled by the Arabs as policy. Palestinians live and work in Israel.

Therefore the reader is entitled to be sceptical about Palestinian propaganda falsely alleging a fantasy-injustice.

Query:

If Palestine’s can’t control the extremists why should they get their own state?

My response:

Currently there is no possible distinction between Palestinians and extremists, and no such attempt at any control of “extremists”. The Palestinians are taught hatred of Jews and Israel at school, which includes teaching that Israel / the Jews are the (fake) cause of all Palestinian alleged issues.

Jewish roots in their ancestral homeland of Israel:

Image: Coin (detail) from the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judea; reign of its last King - King Mattathias Antigonus, c. [approx.] 40 BCE / 681 BH – 680 BH.

It shows the Menorah (seven-branched candelabra) used within the Jewish Temple at the capital city of Jerusalem.

See (at last looking) the seventh image down, at:

I hope this helps.

You are missing the point.

The point is not whether ALL want Israelis dead or not.

The point is: If a Palestinian state were to be created TODAY, what would be the LIKELY result?

Would there be peace between it and Israel?

Or would it be a prelude to war?

It is clear that the "facts on the ground" demonstrate that it will lead to war.

Maybe in a generation it will change.

At the trolling level you cannot be helped out because you're setting all the gin traps.

Co-existence with occupiers is a difficult concept, one which a victorious Russia at the end of WW2 solved by deporting or ethnically-cleansing the potential trouble makers from their newly occupied territories. Israel simply followed that example. It is viewed as a potentially very short-lived state, like the ones set up by the Crusaders.

Your friend is right. There can be no Palestinian state as they'll launch terror attacks against Israel with weapons from Iran.

Many so-called Palestinians want Jews dead - unless chanting death to Jews means something else.

Hamas is still in power, still threatening to destroy Israel, which is funny because they've only managed to destroy Gaza.

Cause of the recent conflict was Hamas telling people to attack the border so they'll be shot and they'll get some good propaganda for a couple of days from it.

It's not a case of Palestinians not being able to control extremists - the vast majority of them are extremists or support extremists.

Egypt refuse to regularly open the border with Gaza saying Gaza is full of terrorists.

Israel refuses to have open borders with Gaza saying the same.

Lebanon is building walls around Palestinian camps saying their extremists.

Assad has destroyed many Palestinian camps in Syria saying their full of extremists.

And much of the Arab world dislikes them. Fact about the Palestinians: They support terrorism more than any other people in the Middle East.

People have been arguing about this since the days of the Ottoman Empire.

Not the first time an indigenous population has had its land taken off it.

Native Americans being the rather obvious example.

It is false , but Israelis are hated, but with reason. It is bizarre to care more for one faction than the other since Zionists even before the State of Israel have been committing slow genocide for several generations by now.

If justice is held to be a universal concept then it should apply to all and it certainly doesn't apply to both sides as things stand.
