Because with all their talk to support the troops, they don't give a sh*t after they return and they don't care if they have body armor and Cheney gives contracts to his old company Halliburton who in turn pays their "contractors" 8 times what our soldiers get and they make sure their people have body armor and the best humvees, etc.

Well, you answered your own question, but, I would like to add that Dick Cheney is a spinless coward, and after FIVE deferments to stay out of Vietnam, I'm guessing hanging around with real American heroes in our VA Hospitals makes him feel like a bigger sleezebag than he already is.
