But I thought the buck stopped at the Oval Office. That's what Hillary said in 2008.

What changed?

The buck stops anywhere but the Oval Office. In fact, the President moves around as much as he can to avoid the buck.

Once again for the liberals, by the State Department's own admission, the refusal to provide extra security HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUDGET!!!

technically, it stops at whoever made the decision to not send extra security...

which seems like a state dept. level decision... I don't see the president making security staffing arrangements...

they may have even had an excellent reason for making that decision... I don't know...

the "buck stops at the Oval Office" is just a saying...

you could theoretically blame Obama for picking Clinton and call her incompetent and thus it's Obama's fault... but that's probably a bit of a stretch on a terrorist attack...

Yeah--why did the buck stop at the state department?

Small government (this is the smallest federal govt in 40 years) + smaller budgets amounts to things like security breaches.

Typical liberals. Let women take the blame and fight their battles for them. I guess that's why Democrat strategist Mark Penn and Chris Matthews said Obama needs to stay focused on girly-boy men, not on real men.

She is getting some political payback; one writer on "Answer's"suggested a Supreme Court nomination. I doubt that she could get Senate confirmation though.

Why did Republicans defund the security? They want Obama to get into trouble.

Maybe she is the de-facto POTUS
