Both in 2008 and 2012, President Obama is the absolutely worst person to lead this nation, still the Republicans are about to lose to him twice. Who would take anything that they have to say or offer seriously? If your party can not defeat President Obama twice, what is the purpose in continuing the Republican party. I could defeat Obama, easily, just look at his record and lack of experience, still Republicans lost. Why continue this useless party?

I'm not sure. But I am sure of one thing. I will NEVER vote again! I have lost faith in the American people! If they are STUPID enough to vote Obam in office a second time, then they deserve what they get! I will just sit back and laugh my *** off! Unlike most of the stupid people in this country. I have saved my money wisely! I own my home, and I have money in the bank. I am not rich by no means, but I can survive just fine for the bad days that are ahead. And they are coming! America! You reap what you sew! You deserve what is going to happen to you!

I know, why don't we just hand ourselves back over to the British that we declared independence from in the beginning? Then we don't have to worry about elections. We can be back in bondage and tyranny. In case you young people don't know what that is, here is the definition: "A government in which a single ruler is vested with absolute power." If the Republicans disband, that is what you are looking at, so like them or not, they play an important role in our democracy. Read the book Nightmare Along Pennsylvania Avenue to learn the true American history.

Obama was a senator so he has political experience BTW.

The party don't disband when there are other elections to focus on-congressional and future presidential elections. Also, you can't tell which candidate is going to win. It's true they are neck and neck vote wise but one can make a huge comeback

John Kennedy was losing almost the whole election but one debate, the first televised debate allowed him to make a major upset to the republicans when he won the election for the democrats

You remind me of the "Chicago Tribune on November 3, 1948"......

And the Republican party has had more members as President,

and covered more years with Republicans than he Democrats !

Even thou Dem's have been around longer !

If we lose, we may be forced to disband.

Obama will be able to crush small business and put so many people on welfare that Romney's 47% will become the majority and force the US to a rich/poor state where everybody relies on government and conservative economics, capitalism in general, will no longer be applicable.

Democrat, therefore, would be the only party.

We'd need a revolution.

Unfortunately, revolutions over class usually end in dictatorships, not democracy.

According to Gallup, both parties have been hemorrhaging supporters for several years. Currently the dems still have more people but are losing more than the repubs.

The largest single voting bloc is currently INDEPENDENTS at 44% with dems & repubs at about 29% & shrinking.

So, by your logic every time the Republican party loses they should disband? Does that go for the Democratic party as well? Gee, that's so....idiotic, I can't quite take your question seriously...

I think they will start giving out Romney Bucks to get the Black vote and a promise of free rides for illegal aliens for the Latino vote. Then they will be back in business.

You couldn't defeat Obama, especially not easy. He has a lot of accomplishments you might not agree with but they're still accomplishments. I would love to see the GOP disbanded.
