I'm conservative and was skeptical about the doomsday double-dip recession, but SOME of you almost guaranteed it.

Good news on unemployment with the jobs report:

It is on its way because the Feds and Obama wants to destroy the middle class.

lol... I have to agree with others...

According to quite a few people, the recent up-tick in the economy could be similar to 1930s recession... before the double dip.

Liberals will try to call it more "fear mongering" b/c they think the public is too stupid to be able to speculate.

Or speak for themselves at all... "Hence" the constant bashing of the Tea Party"

It might still happen, but luckily with the Republicans in control of Congress it may have been averted.

Isn't it great with less than 4 months in control jobs are going up!

Banks still aren't loaning money and housing is still very flat. Let's hope those who predicted a double dip are wrong, for everyone's sake.

The single dip never ended. I don't care what the govt says. 8.8% unemployment, depressed housing prices and a djia not even where it was at three years ago means we haver recovered yet.

It just shows how resilient the American economy is...imagine how much stronger it would be without the bammers unprecedented debt and his mountainous anti business regulations and policies.

Double-dip recessions tend to come from Republican fiscal policies. Democrats avoid them by applying fiscal assistance to sectors of the economy that are the weakest.

It's coming, once the Republican economic policies take hold in the economy.
2011-04-01 20:03:29 UTC
Its still very possible.

You do know the unemployment rate is down partially due to people running out of benefits and giving up looking for work right?

Strap yourself in. It's right around the corner. Clearly you aren't the one who pays the bills or does the grocery shopping.

Those who thought the double dip was possible is dumb.

The first one has a way to go, be patient it's coming, boooo.
2011-04-01 20:05:10 UTC

Gold prices are still going up

Iflation is creeping its ugly head

Gas prices are going up
2011-04-01 20:04:23 UTC
The GOP wins in Nov prevented it. Aren't you happy they won so big? I sure am.
2011-04-01 20:03:59 UTC
Yeah watch gas prices just keep rising and Obama's not going to do anything about it.

It may or may not happen. It's our currency that's the problem, there is uncontrollable inflation.
