There are TWO things that Mitt Roney needs to do to win.....

1. He needs to be more personable, like-able, and relate more to the American people. I think in the last debate he showed a side that most people had never seen. That he actually CARES about what he's doing and making a difference.

2. He needs to put the focus on Obama's job performance. He needs to keep the heat on Obama for the deficit, the national debt, security lapses, and his foreign policy blunders. And he needs to be able to CLEARLY articulate to the American people how his plans are better.

As much as I hate to say it, Romney needs to "dumb it down" for most Americans. He needs to be specific without using too many details. He needs to address the American people the same way he would address a 3rd grade class! Obama won in 2008 because of a slogan! Obama won simply with the IDEA that he was different! He won with the "HOPE" that he might be better. That's not something he can run on a second time!

All he (Mitt) need do is show up with his A-game.

The Obama campaign machine made a fatal mistake by completely vilifying Mitt for the last 6 months... Mitt showed up to the first debate, on the same stage with Obama, and (surprise, surprise!) seemed like a decent, rational, fair, and PRESIDENTIAL man.

Furthermore, Obama reminds me of GHW Bush in '92, carping about why the electorate SHOULD NOT vote for Clinton, rather than giving us reasons to vote FOR him (Bush).

The final nail in this coffin is the Benghazi issue. At the least, Obama looks inept; at the worst, deceptive (scapegoating the whole issue with a YouTube video)... For a man who campaigned on "new transparency" in Washington, he's going to have a hard time weaseling out of this one.

He needs to make the campaign about the issues instead of a personality contest. Where Obama consistently out-polls Romney is on likeability. Therefore, our unbiased and impartial press has decided that this should be the major issue of the campaign -- which candidate is the most likeable. Keeping this in the foreground will assure an Obama victory.

i'm a socialist -- now not a liberal -- and that i do not hate Freedom. even if you and that i'd disagree about what Freedom is, and how perfect to look after it. So i do not recognize if i'm among those you've invited to respond to your question. even if the plain answer is -- "it continues to be too quickly to inform." in reality, Obama for one reason or an more desirable hasn't lengthy lengthy previous a first-type job of restoring US economic advance and pushing down unemployment. i in my opinion do not assume it really is fairly Obama's fault. fairly the GOP residence of Representatives and the GOP minority in the Senate have worked not undemanding to sabotage each and each economic theory that Obama favored, and it really is likewise clean that the "Blue canines" Democrats in 2009 and 2010 did plenty to assist the GOP do its dirty artwork. With both the strong Republican maximum ideal and the wobbling Blue Democrat middle questioning maximum of his economic proposals in 2009, Obama had to tread very intently lest his economic proposals be denounced as "socialism," and for those factors i believe he pushed by technique of technique of an economic stimulus that change into once too small to artwork very sturdy. As liberal economists warned on the time. yet he lots of the time couldn't are growing to be a much better, extra impressive stimulus surpassed if he had tried. also, as each serious market economist admits, capitalism on a global scale is now tormented by its worst, or at least its maximum prolonged, economic and economic quandary in on the least 75 years, because the midst of the excellent melancholy in the Nineteen Thirties. With capitalism on a international scale being in a apparently countless hunch, it will be not clean how plenty ability Obama or any US president would ever have were given to fix unemployment and medicines u . s . a .'s economic doldrums. now not without a lot of cooperation from the Europeans and the chinese, who've economic complications themselves and commonly at the instantaneous are not being truthfully worth. yet in the precise, Obama hasn't been as economically sucessful as maximum presidents attempt to be, and the GOP is hoping to punish him for it. it is even with the actuality that to be seen no matter if the GOP technique will win, landing Romney in the White house. As a leftwing Democrat, i desire now not. even if it will be an intensive race, and that i do not assume all of us recognize the answer yet. -- democratic socialist

He'd need an October Surprise. Also, while I agree he was winning the popular poll for awhile, it looks like after the VP debate Obama is back ahead, albeit only by a single point.

If he were to make public his tax returns, I'm sure he would be pushed ahead a whole percentage point.

Give back George W Bush his brain and start using his own, that would be a good start.
