This posting of guards at memorials that are open air and require less when they are open than Barack Obama is doing to prevent anyone from seeing them is his most disgusting dirty deed yet.

W T F are you talking about? The government was shut down by the House Republicans. This means the Monuments get shut down. That is part of what the Republicans forced to happen. Furthermore, nobody ordered security guards to keep people away. The WWII veterans had no trouble seeing their memorial. They removed some police tape and a few barricades. Get your facts before you spew lies as truth. Reince Preibus proudly displayed a check supposedly paying for security guards for the memorial. The Vets gave the legislators hell for being such unbridled hypocrites. The memorial has been made available to all, now. So you should be ameliorated (yeah, like that's going to happen).



Obama isn't the villain in this matter. He wants Congress to do their job and pass a clean CR. That's called DOING THEIR JOB. They would rather wage a symbolic war over Obamacare, even though it was funded 2 years ago, and all that has happened thus far has not affected the implementation of Obamacare one whit.

Obama didnt post the guards there, and the veterans themselves said that the guards were incredibly helpful to them and allowed them full access to the site.



Jeff Miller, the co-founder of the Honor Flight Network, applauded the National Park Service on Wednesday for accomodating veterans hoping to visit the World War II Memorial, which had been closed as a result of the government shutdown.



“The Park Service they have been so compassionate, they have done everything they could,” Miller said, as quoted by the Washington Post. He added that the service “bent over backwards” to ensure that veterans were not dealt any additional inconveniences.

the GOP is objecting to raising the debt ceiling ( again ) . well lets fix that . lets bring back the pre reagan era fed tax rates on corporations and the rich . that way we can start to pay down the debt instead of keep raising it . i'm sure obama would delay the ACA for a year for that . that would be a great compromise.

Well, Obama going on CNBC, claiming the Republicans will not raise the debt limit-which is not the current issue. This time it's raising budget limits. I like the idea of funding budgets department or program separately. That's how Congress did it when they actually worked and it made it easier to keep things straight. All these huge omnibus spending bills hide all the pork. Smaller bills don't give that cover. Democrats don't care about budgets for the past five years as they wrote in annual increases on almost everything whether we need it or not!
