I have noted Obama is forging ahead with plan after plan. First the stimulus, then bail outs, more spending and yet more and more dollars we don't have. He's spending and spending. He announces a spending plan, the market drops, he announced something else, the market drops again. Isn't this the hurricane captain? Shouldn't you change our course before we hit it straight on? Think!!!!! That is what you were elected to do.
I think of our economy as a bowl of Jello that is shaking like crazy. I don't think he's helping things, if anything he's scaring people into economic fetal positions, everyone is in protective mode.
He's not changing his course of action, he's like a runaway spending train. This is out of control and people are really scared. We want to hold on to what we have and we don't really feel comfortable any more.
Isn't he that captain who should view the hurricane and recognize that perhaps he's done a bit too much too soon? Perhaps if he made this judgement and stopped a few things he has set into action, the economy would calm down and people would feel relaxed enough to spend again? Is it wrong if a president changes his mind? I would think it was a maturing and a wise thing if he suddenly put on the brakes and said that in this present economy it's time to rethink a few things. I would bet the market would go up the next day.
I'm so worried about stores with no customers, people not out buying things. I, for one, can't sleep at night.
We need to get people feeling less like cats on a hot tin roof and comfortable if they just want to go to the mall and maybe buy one or two items. Right now, they are too scared.
Would you find fault with a president who set a course of action and saw that it was the wrong course and then changed his plans to correct things?
What say you?
If you could change what has been set into action, what would you change and why?
