Voodoo economics doesn't work. After THREE tax cuts to the rich, Bush had the WORST job creation record of ANY modern full-term president. Read the Wall Street Journal:
What tax cuts? Welfare payments to unsuccessful businesses will do nothing but bring down our economy. We are printing money like nuts and going into massive trillions of dollars of debt for what? The economy is going to be Carter's economy times a trillion. The economic blow down will bring the whole country into a depression era that was avoidable with sound economic moves that allow the inefficient and unsuccessful to fail. The same crazy arguments about jobs was made when the railroad came along and spelled the end to the canal systems. Millions will lose their jobs in the canals. But millions more were hired by the railroads and the speed of commerce moved up by leaps and bounds.

Still not sober huh? Regan created extremely low unemployment too. With tax cuts. The less tax the more to spend, the more spent the more produced creating new jobs. Simple. Apparently to simple for some. Or maybe it is just a case of, if there is more jobs someone will expect you to work and that idea sucks to you and your friends?

That's a non sequitor. Supply side economics is premised on the creation of jobs by the private sector, not the government. A conservative understands that government actions don't create jobs, but they can prevent the creation of jobs. A tax cut doesn't create jobs, but it leaves businesses with more money to invest in itself and that enables business to create jobs. What you have stated is inconsistent with conservative supply side beliefs.

Are you saying that not one job can exist anywhere without tax cuts? This is conservative logic? I think that is your logic. Never heard a conservative or liberal make that assumption.

I guess I should ask,"Why do you prefer higher tax rates?"
