Israel isn't stupid enough to unilaterally attack Iran, not with the missile and possibly nuclear capabilities Iran possesses. Also, Israel has enough to worry about from Palestinian terrorists, let alone state-sponsored Iranian ones. They will wait for the United States to make another stupid foreign policy mistake of invading another country before they jump into the fray. As for your secondary question, Iran's oil and gas sector suffers from under-investment as a result of US sanctions, which have been in force for more than two decades. The sanctions have not only kept US companies out of Iran but have also served as a disincentive to other countries' firms and multinationals because of the threat of secondary sanctions. Also, petrol is heavily subsidized in Iran. This has led both to very high consumption levels and a big smuggling problem as petrol is transported out of Iran's border areas for re-sale in neighboring countries, where petrol prices are much higher. Also, a shortage of refineries combined with wasteful consumption means that Iran regularly imports petrol despite being one of the world's biggest oil producers.

Israel already has nuclear weapons. Why do you think the rest of the middle east are nervous. How Els do you think they have been allowed to ethnically cleanse and land grab for so long. Israel has become a monster that has been unleashed on the middle east by the worlds reluctance to control it, and Britain and the united states criminal support of it..

We'll Israel already has a stock of Nukes. But that's OK, at the moment they're 'good terrorists' just like Saddam Hussein was a 'good terrorist' when the US supplied his filthy army with weapons and chemicals. How ironic that brave US soldiers were probably killed by weapons supplied by their own previously rotten government.

Israel and Syria havent openly declared they wanted a country and race of people to be wiped off the map for good. Israel already has nukes, they just never openly declared it.

Nations or countries are just nations of people... Unfortunately, the Jones have a history of trying to keep up with the Smiths... This is just the beginning of what could become the source of our end.
