Why do some repubs want Obama dead, but no Democrat ever wanted to kill Bush?

There was not this much hate when Bush won in 2000.

You must not have been around in 2000. Heck some Lib's still can't get it, that Bush is GONE! Every conceivable cartoon, slur, and hate mongerer had a field day with the guy.

When I saw the videos of the Panthers patrolling polling places with clubs in the last election, now they meant what they said.

nicely the person-friendly argument is going something like this. 9/11 became into Clinton's fault, Bush wasn't even in place of work for an entire twelve months whilst it handed off. all of the activity losses are Obama's fault, each thing that occurs after day a million is the hot presidents accountability. Thank you for saying "some" instead of just repubs. During the election, I was a republican and supported McCain for various reasons. But I am appalled that some people are that afraid of a different viewpoint that they want to exterminate the poster child of the viewpoint. That's similar to the crusades. I'm not for Obama (I think higher taxes should merit some results soon thereafter) but I'm not about to go out and take matters into my own hands. I find those types of reps to be annoying and give me a bad name. Why is it different than Bush? Because the issues of his platform in 2000 weren't anything like the issues today. These people don't want another 9/11 (I understand their reasoning, but fanaticism leads to terrorism), they don't want to be paying for someone else's abortion, and they don't want to admit the mistakes were made in the last 8 years. If they go with McCain, they believe none of these will happen, but Obama they believe will make all of them happen. Hope this does something to help you.

Sweetheart you can believe me. The majority of Republicans don't like Obama but we certainly don't want him dead. That would "Martyr" him and the last thing I want is another street named for him, another holiday to commemorate him. No dear, I pray everyday that some pissed off individual doesn't shoot him. He's a big enough problem already alive. Thank goodness we only have to deal with him for 3 more years.

Not that I believe they do, but just suppose Obama is dead. Who is going to step into his shoes?? In fact, who would want to? You have a choice, Biden, Pelosi, - who? Would the Reps want to kill them too?? It isn't going to create jobs, and pull this country up by it's socks! It's only going to make it worse. I don't like OBama, but I don't wish him dead. It didn't solve anything when the Kennedy's were killed, actually, it brought more stress and suspicion into the country. One good thing it did though, it woke people up to the fact this country wasn't as secure as we thought. There are more civilized ways to get rid of a problem, killing isn't the answr. We COULD get something even worse than what we have got already!
