Totally weird. A mass shooter goes to ElPaso, specifically to gun down Hispanics, in support of Trump. Then Trump goes to New Mexico spewing how he "loves" Hispanics. News Flash, folks, he wants their votes, otherwise they would be regarded as drug dealers, criminals , and rapist.

I am constantly reminded by the left to segregate people by factors such as Hispanic. Constantly reminded we are not the same by the left. Then if I address as if we are not the same that I am the racist. I take the stance that we are the same if we are American and then that is racist also.

Chamber of commerce is a good example of who chooses Hispanic over American. In my area we have a plain chamber of commerce for everyone and then we have a separate hispanic chamber created by Hispanic people. Their choice of ethnic division impacts them more than me. They separate themselves from the mainstream collective of local business and then they claim any segregation they face is thrust upon then by the white boogeyman. The left teaches, supports, encorages this activity. This division is a huge asset to the left via identity politics.

This projection game is not taken seriously by me. Blame me if you wish but know it is the left who negatively impacts the Hispanic community by encouraging this activity. Most of the Hispanic people I associate with proclaim to be American; they have a good life, fit it, live the American dream and are not part of the left. My Hispanic extended family in New Mexico have been the elite of their town, big business owners, love their guns, love their country and still have all their roots intact. The idea that joining the nation disposes of your ethnicity is sold by the left.

So I disagree. Playing this game with the left puts you in checkmate with any move because it's how the game is structured. But I'm not playing and the left knows it, that is the left's imagination that I agreed to play. Just as they pretend every Hispanic is a player.

Asking a poorly worded question is not a rant but as typical of the media, they intend to make a mountain out of a molehill. I notice the quotes in the article are saying things like "his remarks made it sound like he was trying to make “a distinction between Hispanics and true Americans” and "Madrid added that the president seems to believe that Hispanics must renounce their heritage in order to be truly accepted as American citizens" These are putting words in the mouth of someone that never actually spoke them in my opinion.
