In the recent years, The Red Dragon has emerged as one of the biggest threat to world peace. The cynical attitude of the Chinese government and its autocratic policies are criticized worldwide. Even the locals of China are not happy with the attitude of the government.

What do you think about China? Its future and the impact of China on the world.

When I'm saying 'China', I mean its government, not its people. So I would appreciate if the Chinese citizens would also give their view about their government.

Please elaborate your answers, if required.

China is a threat to world peace. China supplies cheap toy guns for children all around the world they also supply cheap guns and ammunitions to terrorists and small countries and dictators around the world who are facing political unrest, the source of majority of these guns and ammunition can be traced to China.

Similarly after the disintegration of USSR, China has become the new torch bearer of communism and are the new bosses of the communist party of India, elections in Nepal is an indication of their growing strength.

Communism has its roots in its fight to remove social inequalities in the society. Today China is a communist country for namesake and has all the attributes of capitalist nation the exploitation of labour may be one the worst in the world and Mao would have to bow his head in shame.

America is facing economic problems today and one of the reasons is its over reliance on Chinese goods. Like the rich Arabs, Americans are not on dole for a living, they have to work for it. And if somebody is going to shut industries expecting economical to buy and sell Chinese goods, the working class is not expected to go to China to earn for a living.

Due to the strict Chinese Control over the media the oppression of the masses both political and labour very rarely comes to light.

China is not at all a threat to world peace. China is busy doing great business with the entire world and has emerged as one of the most vibrant economies of the world. No country would want war when it is doing well economically. The Chinese Political System is dictatorial in nature and hence there are more cases of human rights violations in that country, but then most of the countries with huge populations do face this problem including India. China is emerging as the second 'Super Power' in the world in competition with USA after the fall of Russia and it will definitely succeed. India would lag behind mainly due to their corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who sell themselves to big business interests. China is a Giant who has now awaken and it will have a big influence in the world affairs, the world takes China seriously and cannot afford to offend this Super Power.

China, by clearcut visionary planning, dint of concerted hardwork, sacrifice and perseverence, has got rid of many social and economical problems (this however does not mean everything is all right ) and has grown into a huge power recognised and respected by Western powers. But China is being wooed by US and multinationals not for that reason but because it has an unimaginably huge market and purchases armaments priced at staggering amounts.Market considerations decide everything - that means, Money is God. Even India has gone soft - in the hope of picking crumbs and leftovers.

Anyway, where did you pick the idea that China is a threat to world peace ? Don't you think the credit for that goes, more than to any other country, to the government of United States which has undermined United Nations and seeks to poke its nose into anything and everything ?

Notwithstanding the impotent and futile criticism

by Amnesty International and the endless list of things about which one can certainly be skeptical, the educated world as you call it,has been reduced to the level of silent spectators

because no body politic or government has the guts to take any step against the might of China

The reason is not far to look for.Apart from economic consideration, the fact that China has

attained superpowerdom-let's face it,China is today numero uno-makes the world balk at taking any precipitate step.I don't think any further elaboration is called for.

China is repressive, but it is the main part of the world economy. Countries must retain good relations with China even if they don't agree with its policies. Chinese people are dislike their government, but they dislike even more the people who criticize the Chinese government. The only way to make China more liberal would be for a new leader to emerge in China. I doubt that China pays much attention to the wishes of its proletariat nor foreign influence.

If the Chinese government is as bad as you say, and the people is as oppressed as you say, then why are there so many Chinese around the world in support of China and its government?

In Australia alone, there were more than 20,000 people (some estimates put the figure at 30,000) who went all the way to Canberra to support the Beijing Olympics and waive a sea of red flags.

A lot of these people flew in from interstate just to waive the flag. I personally know of people who closed their businesses to go to Canberra just to waive the flag.

Australia is not alone. There were similar scenes in many countries. Besides this show of support for their country, there were also huge protests in Canada against the media's misrepresentation of China and its government. And then of course there was this protest in America yesterday in front of the headquarters of CNN.

Shouldn't that make you wonder if you are getting the correct information from your media?

I read this book by Ted Fishman, China Inc. It is a commentary on the social conditions in rural/urban China. People from rural cannot actually migrate to urban areas where they have all the jobs. You have to bribe all the way to get to work in those industries and then work for 5-6 years like a donkey just to pay the loans off.

Even I feel that there is a huge social unrest just waiting to come up in China. Just one weak leader is what China needs today..

My view, and it extremely is my very own view, is that China is a rustic this is administered with the help of a regime with little cost for humanity, that executes, tortures, exhibits cruelty in the direction of people and animals. Your "justice" gadget is corrupt. All of those the Western international turns its decrease back on on account which you produce decrease priced products that they sell at very severe fees, making extensive revenue . the standard chinese language people I have not got any concern with, i'm specific they have the comparable aspirations as people around the international, to stay in protection, feed and show their little ones to the appropriate of their skill, savour good well-being and characteristic desire for the destiny. I even have travelled the international, inclusive of China and characteristic enjoyed assembly people who, without exeption, the place a priveledge to fulfill. it extremely is my perception that each and all of us inhabitants of this useful planet can paintings mutually, in team spirit , enriching each and each others lives and understand the classes of Governments for self destruction and conflict are obscene. God bless you, your loved ones, pals and fellow pupils.

The Chinese mentality is extremely selfish and material. There r TV documentaries of Chinese conterfit medicine and supplied the world over. They use Tar, glu and wax to make them appear real. The common reaction of an average chinese is that it is only the Non Chinese who r Harmed and so why worry! Their mentality to bully and snatch as in Tibet is matter of record for the whole world to see.

I think China is fucked. With things going the way they are revolution is bound to occur again like it did in 1989 and China will become democratic. But if that doesn't happen then thers always WW3 to look forward to.
