Seeing as to what happened to Roy Moore, and now other people. Evidence and proof of any kind is unnecessary.

The actual waveforms the vodeo consists of can be analyzed. My guess is it'll be a while before that sort of data "looks" like the real thing. I suppose a program could insert artifacts and irregularities to make it look like something other then what a computer spit out. It's not just about having a video, but how it was recorded, or what recorded it, and other factors could be taken into account. It's probably impossible to mimic a bullet fired from a different gun. Comparing apples and oranges I guess. But it'll be some time decades perhaps before a fake video is teuly convincing.
