I guess nobody agrees with me. I'm trying to be as moderate as possible so we can have more choices to choose from. A mixed system seems between a proportional system and a majority system. I think if we come up with a mixed system, we'd have to start on a county level, then city level, state level and finally national level. I support a mixed system having 70% of the reps elected in mixed MMD/SMDs using Choice Voting (STV & IRV) and 30% elected in open state lists (vote for candidate or party). After each state gets its nÂș of reps, they can determine how many come from SMDs and MMDs. It would be better to let each state use mixed SMD/MMD rules making sure that for each MMD at least 3 reps would be elected and no more than 5. If a state has 3-5 reps, it can elect all its reps statewide using STV.

No, it should be abolished; because it has been tampered and modified to many times.
