Question:
Has Bristol Palin been signed up for any Welfare to Work programs? Who will be watching her son?

"On 29 February 2000, a 6-year-old boy in his first year at Buell School, Beecher, in the town of Flint, Michigan, in the USA, took a .32 calibre handgun to school and shot 6-year-old Michaela Roland dead with a single bullet. The boy had been staying with his uncle because his mother, Tamarla Owens, had been evicted from her home for lapsing on her rent payments, despite working up to 70 hours a week in two jobs to maintain her two children. Tamarla Owens was not there that morning to see her son find the gun and take it to school because she had already set out on her three-hour round-trip bus journey to Oakland County, where she worked as a waitress and as a bartender in Dick Clarke's American Grandstand Grill. She was required to make the journey as a condition of the State of Michigan's welfare-to-work programme..."

What does the question have to do with the story below it.

I hope Bristol does not go on welfare. With her mother being the Governor, she probably will not have to.

I have been neutral about her although I do not approve of teenage motherhood. If she goes on welfare, she will be the same as Nadia Suliman - qualitatively speaking. That is just plain wrong. Parasitic behavior.

Congratulations to the Palins and the Johnston! be conscious I could desire to apply 2 separate surnames. Bristol Palin's criminal marital status is single as of the beginning of toddler Tripp. She is counted statistically as a single mom, even nevertheless she isn't by myself, Tripp Johnston (via fact present day regulations now no longer rigidity toddlers born to unwed mothers to take the mummy's maiden call) is born to a single mom. So it extremely is exciting that Sarah Palin made reducing the highschool drop-out fee in her place of origin severe college area of her politcal platform, and (nevertheless she helps the provision of a few varieties of beginning administration) did no longer help coaching approximately varieties of beginning administration in any respect in colleges announcing she could purely help intercourse training that centred on abstinence of pre-marital intercourse. As for the call...nicely, via fact it extremely is consistent with the names of Sarah Palin's boys, it does teach that a minimum of a few of her sturdy ideals have had an impact on the greater youthful couple the two one in each and every of whom are severe college dropouts ---all i will say is...ain't that a Tripp?

Bristol Palin is not on welfare. She is also not responsible for that terrible tragedy you described. That boy's uncle should have had his guns locked up. This is an example of why people want a constitutional amendment about the right to bear arms.

I am vehemently against Palin.

But, that is on political issues. In case you missed the memo, Bristol's mom is Gov. of Alaska, and makes a pretty good living. Any reports I have heard, she is still living at home with them and they support her and child. Dad may be contributing.. but frankly, that is not my business.

I don't think you have ANY reason to compare Bristol's situation to the millions of other single mothers in this country.

(see, repubs? I am not a Palin supporter.. but I am not gonna bash someone with no cause).

what does that have to do with welfare to work? Even democrats will tell you the welfare reforms of the 1990s actually worked. Look into it. You can't take one example where some psychotic kid killed someone as a reason to continue a failed welfare system that was going on since the 1960's.

What is your point dude?

Bristol isn't on welfare; that's a prerequisite for being in a welfare-to-work program.

I am surprised that her mother didn't organize a shot gun wedding.

But I am sure that she will spend the next 4 years finding a sucker to marry her daughter. There are plenty of idiots in the Republican Party, so I am sure she will find someone for the job.

I hope that Sarah doesn't steal money from the Alaskians for that too. If Bristol or her baby daddy is not working, then where will the money come from?
